   I visited this afternoon with my sister to have our nails done. My sister had been told by a member of staff that it was fine for her to bring her baby with her. When we arrived we were met by very unfriendly front of house ladies who proceeded to chastise my sister for bringing her daughter with her as they said there was a ‘no babies policy’. Given Imogen who did my nails (who did a good job and was friendly and tried to be helpful with the situation) didn’t know there was this policy and it doesn’t say this on their website or in their T&C’s, it was really inappropriate for 3 members of the team to lay into my sister making her so uncomfortable that she left in tears having to pay in full for a service she didn’t receive. Whilst the front of house said they didn’t tell my sister to leave they certainly didn’t make her feel at all welcome and weren’t helpful in offering her an alternative (I had to ask whether an alternative solution could be found). Really poor front of house customer care. Sadly we won’t be returning.

   The Hart Spa was brilliant, from start to finish! I have only ever had 1 facial before 13 years ago but the consultant put me at ease and it was incredibly relaxing. My face feels rejuvinated! I got a gorgeous arm massage too and a lovely herbal tea in the relaxing room afterwards.

   We had the best ear piercing appointment today from the moment we arrived. Sally and Rebecca were absolutely brilliant with my very nervous daughter. They immediately put her at ease, you could feel that they genuinely cared and wanted her to have a good experience. I couldn't recommend them highly enough. Matilda says a very big thank you xx

   Went for a holistic candle treatment to solve a blocked ear problem. Expert treatment and consultation, followed by a face massage, felt very relaxed after and the candles appear to have worked their magic. Highly recommend.

   I had booked a 90 minutes massage together with a 30 minutes body scrub so was expecting to have 120 minutes of treatments. I arrived a few minutes before my 14:30 booking time (as requested) so I had time to get changed. I enjoyed both the massage and the scrub - Molly was very friendly and good. At the end of the treatments, Molly told me not to rush, relax a little and then get ready. She would be waiting for me at the front desk. I did exactly that: after a few minutes of relaxing, I went to the changing room, got myself dressed and got ready to make my way to the front desk. It was at that time that I checked the time and noticed that it was only 16:30, the time that my treatments were supposed to have finished! So my treatments had not lasted the time they were supposed to and for which I was charged. I mentioned this at the front desk when I was asked to pay. I was told that the team builds in 15 minutes of changeover time in order that the team can clean the room and get it ready for the next customer. Whilst I understand the concept, it is in my view misleading to advertise and charge customers for a 90 minutes massage and/or a 30 minutes scrub when in effect you only give a 75 minutes massage or 15 minutes scrub. Suffice to say, I am unlikely to go back until they actually deliver the treatment (time) I pay for.

   I had a makeup lesson with the salon. Someone with good skin might not have any problem, but if you have any skin concerns, your experience can be devastatingly painful. I never wished to write a negative comment. Yet, I felt obliged as I don't want anyone to experience what I went through.

   To anyone considering using The Hart Spa I would highly recommend. On arrival I was warmly greeted by two friendly Front of house members. I was booked in with Molly who came through and introduced herself and she immediately made me feel at ease. I was blown away the end result and have received many compliments on my lashes. I will definitely be booking in again!
