Made an appointment several weeks in advance for a flu jab, only to be told on arrival that the pharmacist could not administer these and that they had been trying to get in touch- I had left my phone number and email and had 3 reminders of the appointment (including the night before) so no attempt had been made to contact me. Rearranged the appointment for 2 weeks later as I work and can't drop everything to come in, and I've just had it cancelled with no explanation. When I called, it's because the pharmacist can't administer flu jab. It's the start of flu season and the vaccination programme, so it's a bit bizarre really that they can't, but I understand things happen, staff get sick etc. But twice in a row, and the first time with no notice at all is outrageous. A lot of people eligible for the vaccine will be elderly and have health problems, getting to the appointment might have been very difficult for them. I've tried calling the customer service number and can't get through without putting in my boots advantage number, I've put that in and it says it can't find my account. So overall, a complete waste of my time. Staff in the store were very apologetic, but definitely not their fault.

Booked a flu jab with them over a month in advance and we're only told as we went up to the counter to get them that they couldn't provide one. We weren't notified in advance and wasted time going to get them. We rebooked for another one a few weeks later and they have now cancelled that one as well for the same reason. Feel sorry for the people on the counter that have to tell customers that flu jabs are unavailable AS THEY COME TO GET THEM, the pharmacist needs to come out of his hidey hole and take some accountability instead.

I cannot speak for the pharmacy here but in terms of picking up boots packages I've had no issue and staff have always seemed friendly. It's quite a small boots but has the essentials.

I was having a terrible day and the hijabi that works there (sorry I donβt know her name) helped assist me with returning without a receipt. Amazing customer service everytime Iβve met her at the Didsbury Boots.

My 16 yr old and I attended the Didsbury branch to purchase her first makeup products (specifically for prom). Julia the store advisor was amazing, she discussed several products helping to give different options and also included information around products to help keep her skin healthy. My daughter can be quite shy at times however Julia made it an easy experience, one where my daughter would have no problem repeating. Julia gave us just enough information for us to feel confident in picking the products we thought were best, leaving us to make the choices but we were left feeling comfortable enough to approach again if we needed. On our way home my daughter had a smile on her face whilst holding her bag of goodies eager to get home and dig in. For my daughters experience and for Customer service alone i have to give this store top marks on customer service. I had a smaller interaction with the gentlemen at the till who was polite and friendly. Overall this is a really nice store with friendly workers, experienced and happy to help.

I rang 3 times each time until a member of staff stopped the call without answering, so I turned up assuming two days was enough to prepare my prescription, it wasn't and could I come back after 3.30pm the next day for my prescriptions. I came back the next day, waiting in the pharmacy queue slow takes on a new meaning, there was a young lady serving who didn't appear to be adequately trained, every other sentence was an apology and there was certainly plenty to apologise for! I waited 20 minutes in the queue and for at least 10 minutes she was with one customer only. Me and the lady behind me both missed our trains waiting. Its just a shame zero stars isn't an option.

I have had several jarring experiences from rude and condescending pharmacists at this store. On one occasion, they interrogated me as if I was a drug abuser when I tried to purchase cold/flu relief medication (I was there with obvious symptoms) and their attitude was absolutely appalling. I gave up in the end and went to my local friendly chemist instead (yes I should've done that in the first instance!). Due to very poor customer service, I refuse to shop at this store or any Boots stores or online! There are signages in their stores to warn customers not to be abusive to staff, but what about staff who are abusive to customers?!
