   Possibly the WORST hair experience I have ever had. Flat ironed my damp hair as she claimed using a hair dryer is costly. I did an 82 mile round trip from Reading and arrived for a 10:45 appt at 10:53 for a basic wash, treatment and blow dry of my LA weave which was just three weeks old. Previous to that, I had called Regina at 10:45 to say I was walking towards her place as my Sat Nav told me I was 7 minutes away from where she had told me to park. On arrival, I was met with a frosty reception as Regina starter muttering she had another appointment after mine. She then claimed my hair was tangled and proceeded to vigorously brush off my hair to the point that my weave tracks became loose. To make matters worst, Regina did not properly dry my hair and left my weave tracks damp YET proceeded to flat iron my hair. I only realised this when I got home as my back hair was so damp with the loose tracks semi hanging out …the reason why the back of my hair was clumpy, matted and tangled! She then had the guts to charge me extra for my so called matted hair, which is now STILL matted, as Regina RUINED my sew in tracks and didn’t tighten them. I had asked Regina to tighten them but she claimed they were not loose. On arrival back at home in Reading, I called Regina to inform her of this. She was unapologetic and stated she doesn’t use the hair dryer as it costs more. The cheek! So she’s willing to compromise on client quality and outcome because of cost. She nonchalantly informed me I could come back…despite the fact that it was an 82 mile round trip! She gave a snorted laugh when I asked for a partial refund of her poor service and I have now started a credit card dispute for services not as described.

   Regina is great. She is cool, calm and composed and good at what she does. I was apprehensive to cut my hair, even though it needed it due to dry, split ends. Regina explained how much she would take off and the benefits. After building my courage I allowed her to cut. Regina knew what I wanted and cut my hair accordingly. She left me happy and pleased with the look. I definitely recommend her for her skills and her gentle demeanour.

   I’ve had a range of services with Regina, including keratin treatments, balayage, and various hair treatments. Every experience has been excellent and she works with great attention to detail, ensuring great results each time. It is hard to find a salon that can provide services catered to my hair texture, so it is great to have confidence in Regina’s services.

   I've been getting my hair done at Regina's for the last 5 years from blonde highlights to peachy coloured hair, and now copper red as well as the regular haircut. I have always left happy and with expected results (or better!!). Regina herself is lovely, professional and I would absolutely recommend getting your hair done at her salon. ✨✨✨

   I love this place so much! Regina is absolutely amazing, completely understands my curly hair (not many hairdressers do, I've been to many previously). Regina is super talented, a real professional, gives great advice and always leaves my looking & feeling amazing! I cannot recommend her highly enough. Regina is also an wonderful person, always so warm, welcoming and we always have fabulous chats about anything and everything whilst she makes my hair look amazing! ❤

   Regina is a kind and professional individual. She is meticulous in her approach and gives you the best advice. I have been to Regina several times and would not trust anyone else with my hair. If you want a good style/cut or colour etc this is the place to go. I can not recommend her enough. I always leave feeling happy!

   I went to have my natural Afro hair shampoo and blow dry. It’s always a wonderful experience. Regina is a professional and loves doing what she does you can see by the care she gives to the hair. It’s worth the service she gives. I love it. The environment makes me relax and feel at home. She leaves hair looking healthy. This is the third time there. I am never disappointed. Well done.

   This is a very long review, but please read if you are considering visiting, especially as a person with hair type 3-4. I visited Hair By Regina recently (Saturday 12 Feb 22), Straight away from arriving the atmosphere was awkward and unsettling. The two staff members were distant and did not engage with each other. - When the treatment began, I was told that I should have come with my hair prepared (even though I was having a deep condition treatment and silk press where my hair would be washed and needed to be detangled anyway) and was charged an additional £10, this was not mentioned on the website. - Next, I was told that my hair is long and thick (as you can see it is shoulder length so definitely not long) so the service would be an additional £10 due to my hair type. This was also not stated on the website or the booking platform. - In total I pad just over £70 for this service, that was quoted as £50 on the booking website. From the photo below, that was taken after the service, you can see that my hair was not in an acceptable condition and was not worth the £70 that was demanded from me. It was defiantly not silk pressed. My hair was left extremely dry and frailer, this is probably due to the products that was on offer. There was plentiful of Cantu products that does not work well with the type 4 hair that I have. - After the treatment I sent Regina this photo and said that I was extremely disappointed with this service and would like to be compensated with a partial refund, which is a just cause response. She them emailed back refusing to do so. Offering to redo the service again when it should have been done well the first time is not compensation, it is an inconvenience at best. Overall, the worst hair experience and I would not recommend it to anyone who is considering visiting.
