Have been coming to see Sean for years and have struggled to find an alternative to the experience, quality and attention he and his team provide. After having multiple bad experiences with different hairstylists I decided to give here a try. I have never been happier with my hair! There’s reasonable pricing AND student discount. I’ve never felt so in love with my hair than I do now. Thank you to the amazing team! Will definitely be returning
I came in for a haircut yesterday and was cut by Sylvia, after agreeing I wanted my hair cut to my collarbone, she proceeded to cut several inches shorter than where I wanted it to be up to my jaw, I am very upset and disappointed as it was way shorter than what I asked for alongside not being a straight cut due to the front sections of my hair not having been cut at all due to being grow out from previous curtain bangs. unfortunately I do not want to leave my room due to how much I despise the cut. Additionally I asked for curtain bangs but she forgot and I did not want to remind her incase she messed that part of the cut up too.
Fab appointment with Dee today, it was my first visit to the salon and Dee was friendly and knowledgeable. Very pleased with my cut, will be returning for some colour!
Brilliant. I went from long hair to short, I was very nervous about the change but needn't have been, Sean did a fantastic job I am so pleased. The staff are lovely and even though I got confused with my appointment and arrived 1 hour late they squeezede me in.
The best there is. Recently discovered Lucy who is fantastic. She understands curly hair and can provide the best blowdry which makes me feel $1M. Great salon, lovely staff. What’s not to love?
Being the only hairdresser available for a last minute haircut, my daughter went to the SJ Forbes salon in Egham last week for a haircut with Sylvia. Her hair was just below shoulder length and wanted to cut it shorter prior to her ski holiday to make it easier to manage under the helmet. Well it's a very long story, but I can only advise you to avoid this salon for the following reasons: - The haircut itself as you can see in the pictures attached - shocking! - An additional £10 was charged apparently for a restyle with a stylist when on their website there's no charge mentioned for a stylist. She couldn't have been an advanced stylist because she would've quoted my daughter £48 not £40 (which btw on the website is £42?!?) plus she clearly lacks the skill and experience even for a stylist - Discrepancies in the price quoted, final bill and the website's price list, resulting in my daughter ending up paying the initial amount asked of £40 with an apparent final bill before discount of £57!!! £57 for a simple short haircut!?! - No one in that salon had my daughter's best interest at heart - The way my complaint was dealt with in store and over the phone with the salon manager claiming she cannot see if the haircut is good or bad with my daughter standing in front of her when you can see it from a plane! And also telling me she cannot deal with me right now because she's with a client Also just remembered she had some issues with the payment the first time around when she went for a trim with the same stylist, bad trim then too, but the hair was long and wasn't as noticeable. That time around they've booked her a day before the day my daughter told them to, probably by mistake, but when she didn't turn up for her appointment thinking is the next day they've called her and rescheduled at a later time that day and the haircut went past 5pm when the student discount is no longer applied according to their website. No one has made my daughter aware that this is going to be the case, knowing she will want to use her student discount, this again is a red flag!
Super friendly staff, the best head massage ever when washing my hair. However by far the worst hair cut I have ever had, my hair was brushed behind my back and cut in a straight line... Not sure if this is some new method of cutting but its horrendous. I kindly asked if this was it and the hair dresser said yes...I asked if she was going to section/part it and cut in more and she said no. I was very confused, I asked for a loose curly blow dry but I was told it needs to be blow dried straight to see the cut and to fix it if it needed more cutting. I kept saying I don't want a straight line but thats what I got... I usually would not leave a bad review but for the price it was the worst decision ever to try somewhere new. Very disappointed, as i expected more from the price paid.
Absolutely fantastic hairdressers. Team are fantastic and Luke is a genius at colouring and taming hair. You can sit back and relax and enjoy a glass of prosecco whilst they work their magic. I wouldn't dream of getting my hair cut or coloured anywhere else.
