Had a Quick haircut before thinking about this place for Colour correction. Said she could Recolour my yellow blonde roots brown for me! I nearly cried! ......Seriously, you think it would look good, blonde with brown roots I said , howling with laughter. She said if you don’t be quiet I ask you to leave salon...I was quiet for my haircut even though I was howling inside when she told me tme colour correction is £250-500!! I had a Woolf cut it’s not great and she charged £56. Should have been £46. AaaaaOooooo!

I have been coming to Hair Culture for 10 years now and have never been left disappointed. Susan and Christine have been amazing at doing my hair (As has Vincent with my partners) and I am always so pleased when finished. The service is great and prices are reasonable. I moved out of London four years ago but still choose to drive back into London just to get my hair done here as I have complete trust in what they do.

Having moved to Harrow i chose to start going to this salon for my regular colouring and wash/blow drys, I generally attend a salon every few weeks to have my hair done. After having my hair done on several occasions, I rang up merely to change the time of my sooointment and have the unfortunate experience of having Vincent answer the phone. He commented on what I was having done and told me it would cost more then I usually pay, I asked if the salon had changed it’s pricing as I had been paying another price on previous visits. He then made very personal comments about my hair (which being mixed race it’s curly) and stated I would have to start paying more (maybe vincent doesn’t want to deal with customers with non-european or non-asian hair as I honestly felt he was discouraging me from attending with an unreasonable price), I explained that the price I have been paying there previously was the top-end but acceptable to me and that I had never been asked to pay more than that for a wash and blow dry anywhere. I also explained I’m hoping to be a regular customer and have always left a tip for the stylist so I’d like to pay what I have usually been charged and don’t think the random price hike was justified. Vincent was rude and dismissive, no interest in offering good customer service or encouraging repeat business (a reasonable compromise would have been to charge what I usually pay as I had an appointment that day and to let me know a new price would occur on a future visit). He had no interest in listening to me and specifically said he doesn’t care about how much I’ll come there, he continued to make personal comments about my hair and left me feeling hugely offended and shocked. Very disappointing as I’d had my hair done before by 2 lovely ladies who had both charged me the same price and didn’t make any comments that I should pay more! Avoid Vincent and this salon - his customer service is poor and he openly discourages diversity with making up random pricing which is unfair.

I checked salons in Harrow after moving here recently - and am sooo glad about the reviews on google leading me to Hair Culture. Had one of the best and thorough hair cuts of my life plus styling and a nice head massage and wash. Very happy with the quality of my cut and styling - will definitely be back!
