   This was my first time going to this shop, and I was a little nervous at first because I’m self-conscious about my locs. Quentin made me feel so comfortable! He did a great job on my hair quick, polite, and super chill. He didn’t even mind when I dozed off lol. The music was on point and the vibes were great. Definitely recommend booking with him!

   I have been to Q2 Locs on 3 separate occasions and I can safely say that I would recommend. The place is always clean, the vibe is chilled, and the customer service is great. Not to mention the music selection is great too that I don't to have my earphones on. I'll be coming back.

   Q2 Locs Parlour has made me re-love my locs again. I got my locs dyed, washed and re twisted and they look amazing. The hair products used smell amazing so fresh and nice. Staff are amazing, super friendly and kind. Defo recommended if you need your locs re done or if you are just starting your loc journey. Also like they have a website you can book directly on for appointment. There was no waiting around which I love.

   Q2 Locs Parlour is such a hidden gem! I came here before lockdown in 2020 to start my locs and have been thrilled to come back. They are very welcoming and friendly and have one of the best salon playlists I've heard in a while! It was great to see the redesign and all the products they sell. The earrings are beautiful and I can't wait to try their hair oil. I highly recommend visiting if you are looking for a comfortable and easy-going yet professional experience.

   Quinton is a nice guy but can't say my experience was a positive one. I don't have afro-textured hair and although the website says he caters for all hair types I emailed and tried to call just to make sure he could cater for my hair type, unfortunately my emails weren't replied to and phone calls not answered. In any case I went to my appointment, however he was not there yet and I needed to wait 1.5 hours for him to arrive. Once he did we briefly discussed what the tactic was going to be, I am a complete novice when it comes to locs so I was happy to go along with his suggested technique. After around 2 weeks the locs really started to unravel quite drastically and each loc only had a really small knot in them and left my hair in a matted mess. 10-15cm from my roots was basically normal hair. I decided to wash and try to brush out my hair and try another loctition. Today I had them done and couldn't be happier with the results. I'm sure Quinton does fantastic work for certain hair types but it would have been beneficial for both of us if he has told me he was unable to do mine properly, wasting both of our time, and money for me.
