On multiple issues , they have accomodated me and gone far beyond what I've experienced from other practices in the country. Tip top practice
The practice has ready access for appointments, pleasant receptionists and very understanding, sympathetic doctors . I've been with this practice for 40 years and would hate to change.
I've never encountered any problems during my visits. Scheduling an appointment is a breeze, and they run on time. The facility is consistently clean, so I have no complaints.
Would highly recommend, never had an issue. You can always get appointments and staff are very welcoming. The doctors and nurses are all lovely, I’m glad I moved practices to here.
I have been with the surgery since I was a child and it is always brilliant. A well run practice and continues to be run well run by the staff. Setting the standard that all surgery’s should be aiming for.
They are amazing been twice to see the doctors they were fantastic with me and Also the reception staff can't do enough for you too
After receiving appalling care from our previous Gp’s we changed to The Burns practice , Cantley a year ago . OMG we have had amazing service and care from everyone in the practice !! When needed , we always get a same day appointment . They are very proactive in our health care . Although we seem to see a different GP they have all been really, really good ! Soooo happy we changed and a big thank you to all the members of staff in our surgery x
The only issue I have so far, is the difficulty in getting through by phone for an appointment . If one was very poorly, it would be a real problem having to constantly redial. I had no reason to see a doctor for quite a few years, bur developed an eye infection, mentioned a few other more potentially serious things…and ended up with an almost complete “ MOT “ at the DRI within a couple of. weeks due to the doctor’s prompt transfer action. I find the staff very friendly and helpful. One other issue is me not being able to log in successfully into their app for repeat prescriptions. Some technical glitch, but as they won’t issue them by phone anymore it requires a letterbox drop, and that’s a bit of an inconvenience
Reasonably quick with appointments and reasonable availability. I did have a problem which needed to be seen by a GP when it occured I went in but as they don't do 'walk-ins' there was no way they could see me. Offered to make an appointment which would have taken a week at which point the issue would have gone. Where I think they really fall down is how late the GPS can be. Sometimes you can be seen 20 minutes after your appointment time. I'd like to see what would happen if turned up just 5 minutes late for an appointment.
Really nice reception staff. I always feel listened to, they are polite and make sure my query is dealt with. I believe this really helps when you feel under the weather. There is generally appointments available when you ring up first thing. All doctors and nurses I have seen to date, have also been supportive and polite.
