   From the process of booking an appointment with Richmond Toni n Guy to leaving the salon my experience was the best I’ve ever had in a salon ever. Every single staff member was extremely polite, attentive and made me feel special. Maeve was the nicest hairdresser who also done an outstanding job on my not so easy hair. She went out of her way because i was a new mum and it was the first time I’d been able to leave the baby to have some pampering and she went out her way to make me feel spoiled and definitely pampered. I’m so impressed by the service, efficiency, cleanliness, attentiveness and the fact I was so at ease. I was also offered tea, coffee, mocha, hot chocolate, coke. And I took them up a fair few times. The customer loo was immaculate. The chap who shampoo’d my hair was also so helpful and lovely. They made sure the water temp was okay and checked during the wash too. Asked me if I wanted the chair to have a massage option turned on. They asked if they were pulling the hair too tight whilst brushing out the bleach and toner. Maeve actually also listened to what I liked on my hair previously and said truthfully that it might not be the best recommendation, gave the reasons why and also remembered the little details I had told her during our 4 hour appointment and conversation. I told her I only get my hair done every 6 months and she remembered that when I was leaving and said il see you in 6 months. She happily took photos I asked of her. She made me feel a million bucks and so did the chap helping her. On top of that she’s so talented with hair.

   I had my haircut with Katie, and she did an absolutely amazing job! I showed her an inspiration photo, and she recreated it perfectly. Her customer service is excellent, and she’s really skilled at building rapport. It’s clear she’s in high demand — and for good reason! ❤️ I’ll definitely be coming back to maintain my bob. You’re a star, Katie!

   I've been getting my hair coloured by Maeve for years - she's been nothing but amazing, but the service at the salon is poor. I called to book an appointment, was given a time on a Saturday. Booked and confirmed. The salon then calls me to say they need to cancel, which isn't great, but fair enough, things happen. I say I'll book something else having checked when I can take time off work. I find a time and book another appt for Wed. The salon calls me this morning to say I have 2 bookings. Why? Because the person who called me didn't bother to cancel my first Saturday appt, despite this being the very reason for their call. I wasn't happy to not have even received an apology despite this being an issue on THEIR end. I mentioned that - still no apology and rude tone. How are you supposed to trust a business like this? If you book an appt will it actually happen? When they say it's cancelled, will that actually happen? I'd steer clear of bookings before important occasions.

   Kara (who usually works at the Wimbledon Branch) did my hair. I was booked in for a full head of highlights + root cover (for my greys). I wanted a caramel/toffee highlight and Kara achieved this in one sitting (my hair is level 1, black). I'm so impressed with the results, everyone has been complementing me saying that my new colour looks more natural than my usual black! It's a big change but yet looks so natural, matches my skin tone perfectly (I'm south Asian, olive complexion). I will definitely be going back to Richmond/to see Kara when I feel I need a touch up.

   Very happy with the advice and colour recommendations offered by the colour technician. Similarly with my hair cut and blow dry. Although expensive, at £270+ I will definitely return. Would highly recommend.
