   I have edited my review, so the responce from the salon addresses my previous positive review. As I am getting nowhere dealing with their customer services, I am posting pictures of my bad haircut. This salon used to be great, but Mr David Masters retired and sold the salon. I had a bad haircut. The woman cutting hair did not seem to understand me, and cut a 3-4 inch layer on ONE SIDE. The sad thing is that I had a bad haircut historically, and I had been coming to DM to have it slowly corrected over time. She made it worse, and I ended up getting hair extentions because of this. What I liked about DM before it was sold, is any complaints would be dealt with professionally. DM used to be an "old school" hair salon, where customers wishes are listened to. This is not the case anymore. I cannot say that this has been done. When I complained to the salon, I was told that "it is passed to head office". Four months later I get a call from a rude lady who said I did not pay for the haircut, therefore I will not get a refund. I did pay for the haircut.

   I’ve been seeing Scarlett for around four years now, and she does an amazing job with my hair, whether it’s colour, highlights, or treatments. Today’s keratin treatment and colour look incredible! Scarlett is so talented and makes me feel at home every time. She even remembers exactly how I like my coffee, which is such a nice touch. The whole team is friendly and welcoming, too. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a great stylist!

   I cannot say enough wonderful things about David Masters Salon, and specifically, Michelle. I live in the US and was flying into London for an important business meeting. I had scheduled a blowout at another salon in Richmond that canceled two hours before my appointment, so I had to scramble. I called 10 different places before I tried David Masters and Michelle not only stayed late to do a blowout, but she did an amazing job for an affordable price.

   Paula has been cutting my hair now for nigh on twenty years, and I have always been well satisfied with the end result. In the first lockdown, I went sixteen weeks without a visit, and at no point did my hair lose its shape. I think that this says it all!

   David himself is the best barber around Richmond/St Margarets. Yes, it is a hair salon for women but if you're lucky enough to walk in and find David available have your hair cut by him even if it's not cheap. Highly recommended (at least for men).
