Friendly staff, absolutely great with my 7 year old. Amy knows exactly what she is doing and can still deliver an awesome haircut, even with younger kids who tend to move a lot. Mark is also a great guy!
Not a fan AT ALL. Walked in and hairdresser rushed me into the chair with the scissors at the ready saying “so you’re getting a cut yeah?” Basically started chopping before I even had a chance to tell her what I was going for. She spent the entire time cutting my hair staring out the window waiting for her Uber eats to arrive, I swear she was chopping blind for most of it!! Eyes on the window, NOT my hair. Proceeded to tell me how hungry she was. When the food arrived she rushed my cut to the end , slammed the scissors down, grabbed her lunch and abandoned me with a hair cut I continue to hate months later. Hair is such an intimate part of us, it’s not something to be taken so lightly with zero connection with the customer. I wanted to feel heard and I wanted my hair to feel looked after. Instead I felt completely violated if I’m honest. I do not recommend one single bit.

never in my life have I suffered this ... I went for a simple wash and dried my hair, he invited me to the chair and he wanted to cover me with a dirty cape I only dried a quarter of my hair with a very dirty brush and he was very verbally aggressive. I suffered an emotional shock when I saw how he behaved with me, he left my hair half wet and took me out. try to explain that the hair is burned and that's why he uses a very hard hair brush for my scalp. He took a strand of my hair and tore it in front of me. Very bad experience stings my scalp as it aggressed me. I do not recommend you go there as long as he does not follow the rules of hygiene and aggressive with customers. Too bad the location and the staff that supports it ...
A friend of mine recommended me The Works so I booked an appointment with the friendly receptionist who managed to book me in the next day. The stylist had a chat with me and happy to say, I loved my new hair do!
Been going to The Works for about 10 plus years, now live in Warwickshire & still come down for KC to do my hair. Marc & the team are simply brilliant, totally enjoyable experience, really friendly, looking forward to my next visit already.
