A very sad looking person didn’t talk to me at all or advise on my haircut as I asked. Store closing down and didn’t have straighteners and didn’t receive texts from app as stated so was seen only cis she happened to be free!!

Appt was with runak, listened to what I wanted, a great result, would have no hesitation in having another haircut with her. My sister had a bob done by her and said best ever, lives miles away otherwise would visit again

Genuinely the worst blow dry I’ve ever had in my 20 years experience of getting regular blow dries. I’ve never been here before so walked in and Ronak was my stylist. She’s moody, defensive and thinks she knows everything. She doesn’t know my hair so i was letting her know what’s works best for my hair but she didn’t want my advice and acted like she knew best. The blow dry was so flat I couldn’t believe I paid £34 for it. She ended up having to use a straightener to curl my hair. You know a stylist is terrible when they blame your hair for a lack of their own skill. Big blow drys are possible in my hair and I get them all the time every two weeks infact with no issue so if you aren’t able to get that same result then it’s not the hair that’s the issue it’s your ability. I asked for a flicked out middle part fringe and she proceeded to blow dry in the wrong direction so I let her know what works best usually and she said one moment I will and she never did and of course the fringe was flat as a pancake with no flick. I blow dry my own fringe every day so again she tried to blame my hair texture for the lack of result. I said to her I know my hair she said yes but I don’t, and I said yes that why I’m trying to tell you. She’s cold in her demeanour, not warm at all and clearly doesn’t love her job and is a very basic stylist. She knew I was displeased from my body language but she did not care at all. If you don’t know how to style your hair go there because you won’t know any better but if you know what works for you what you want and what you like don’t go there, because they lack expertise and aren’t worth the price tag.

Had my hair cut on Tuesday sorry forgot to take the ladies name, she was very professional and took great care. All my friends said how lovely my hair looked. Love the way you can pop in and they will text you when to come back for your appointment. I will definitely be back next time my hair needs cutting.

I have been previously and had great cut and blow dry. Monday there was a different stylist. I have a really bad cut. Looks like an amature or child cut my hair.

Been going to the salon for decades. No more! I'm done with this salon. It's gone downhill since Emily left and now they have this strange booking system. Two haircuts ago it was cut badly. We measured the length either side of the face with a ruler and the measurements were nearly one inch different. The next time was OKish. But today I booked early and was second in the queue and told to get there at 9.55 am. The hairdresser was busy and said she would text me. I did all the possible things that Edgware has to offer and still no text. So frustrating on a precious day off. I went back over one hour later as I tried to check again online and this seemed to be about right. I was planning to wait there a few minutes. To my relief she was sat at reception and looking out (not doing anything) so I thought my appointment had finally arrived. Well! She was the opposite of welcoming. I asked if I could sit, she showed me a chair across the room in quite an offend manner. I asked how much longer. She told me about an hour. I am normally very polite and tolerant. But on this occasion I just stood there and went through all this in my mind, and something inside just flipped. I told her that I wanted to cancel, turned and walked away. I went to "Pink" in Mill Hill. The contrast in customer service was remarkable. But back to Supercuts Edgware. I have also witnessed ageism. Months ago I was told that the new queuing system meant I had to scan a barcode without any attempt to enquire if I was able. Whilst navigating this system on my own, another lady came and she appeared to be around eighty. She was told to take a seat. No need to scan a flaming barcode for her. Presumably being a few years younger means you get a bad attitude and a worse service. I rarely give bad reviews but this salon deserves one. I do not intend to go back.

I’m giving four stars based on the lovely, overworked and cold hairdresser who is currently there. Not giving five stars for the following reasons: 1: after booking online, told to go to the store. Went and used the scan and go to join the queue. Told that there is an hour and half wait so can do some shopping and I will get a text when it is my turn. Did my shopping only to get to the shop and find out that two walk ins had come in and my turn was bumped down the line. No where on the website does it tell you that they still do walk ins. So I sat and waited for near on two hours. This cost me an additional £12 in parking fees. Not happy about that. 2. It was so cold yesterday due to the shop being right by the entrance/exits. Heating was very poor and for someone who has been ill and recovering from an op it was really bad. I’m sure health and safety would have a few words about working and waiting in such conditions. 3: on a weekend, only one hairdresser working on what is technically the busiest times. Poor woman had to cover hairdressing, till and cleaning duties. Note to Supacuts Head Office, please read and remedy as not just myself but other women who had booked online arrived at the salon for their appointment only to be confused and angry at the misinformation online.
