I've been regiestered at this practice for 3 years and felt I've recieved a very standard service. As many have said it is hit and miss dependent on which GP you see, and like most practices there is always the Monday 8am scramble to get an appointment. However recently I have been able to see Dr R Brews. For the first time at this practice I have been impressed by the level of care I have recieved which has gone above and beyond my expectations. I have felt listened to and my worries put at ease. I have been so impressed by their care I recommended my partner see them and he too has felt the same. I cannot praise their level of care highly enough.

As a seriously disabled person who has a chronic illness and mobility issues. I returned to the practice after 5 years away from the country. I have to say after 1 visit the WHOLE practice was appalling. Everything from the booking system to the attitude of the staff. I believe Dr Davis is managing the practice. I am suprised that he has let it get this way. He has been a the practice for a long time. The surgery has lost its fundamental values. Putting patients first. Not technology!!!

Unfortunately it is a hit and miss with the GP's but most of them are brilliant. I had my consult with Dr Okeke and she was wonderful, gave me a referral I very much needed. She's a great listener and it's obvious she cares. Personally, the ladies at reception have always been wonderful whenever I've made a phone call too, props to them! I can say all staff are amazing :) All of my appointments were made in a timely manner too.

I just wanted to say how lucky I am to have Swallownest Health Centre for my Children. It’s been a challenging time for both my daughters recently and I have always managed to get them an appointment with one of the many excellent doctors. Thank you for the great care they have each received from you. Nick

Swallownest health centre is a mixed bag. Some of the practitioners are wonderful people with exceptional professional knowledge and expertise. Others are dangerously negligent. At least one of the reception team is especially bad. It is hard to tell from phone conversations and visits in person, whether it’s the same offender on the phone and at the desk when you get there. However, the others are always very kind and helpful. I’ve come across one doctor once, that was awful; they didn’t know how basic biology works and tried to prescribe me medication that would definitely make me worse (I later got other medical professionals to confirm this, so what I am saying isn’t just opinion or conjecture). I am unsure as to how they have managed to become qualified as a doctor. The other healthcare professionals I’ve come across usually range from very good to outstanding, I am massively grateful for their help over the years.

We have been with this practice for 43 years and have seen lots of changes. The Doctors and nurses have always been first class and very switched on with the care we have needed! They do a Stirling job given all the unnecessary changes imposed on them by the Government!!!

Absolutely shocking to be told that I carnt get my tablets that are need for me to be able to go to work. The receptionist was rude and no help what do ever , the fact you carnt book an appointment and if you don’t ring in time your left without the medication you need as a taxpayer is a massive disappointment in this surgery

Terrible!! Service is shocking I called at 8.30 to get an emergency appointment was 12th in the que by the time I got through I was told all appointments had gone and the best they could do was after the weekend!! Disgraceful they tell you not to go and waste time so I suffered for a week and my symptoms were getting worse so I decided to see the pharmacist the day before who couldn’t help me and said I needed to see the Doctor as it was a clear infection and only antibiotics would now help!! Walk in centre it is! Worst doctors surgery I’ve ever been registered too! Not the first time I’ve struggled to get an appointment wanted to see the nurse once and was told there was a 2 week wait! Useless!!

Not sure if all the negative reviews, but called up just before midday and got an appointment a few hours later. Prompt and efficient all the way from receptionist to doctor. Doing very well given the circumstances they are working under.

So frustrating. I rang on the 5th of September to try and make an appointment to see a nurse only to be told I need to see a doctor. I was then working Tues,Wed Thu,Fri so was unable to ring at 8am. Ring afternoons and your told to ring at 8am. Any way long story short rang today was told I now needed to see a nurse. No appointments till next Tuesday when I'm working. I will be taking someone's name next time it's disgusting.
