   I've been going to Howard’s Hair Salon in Hackbridge for years, and I honestly can’t recommend Nicky enough. She has been cutting my son David’s hair since he was just 4 years old, and she always does an absolutely amazing job. Even more importantly, her patience, kindness, and calm approach with him are incredible, it really makes all the difference and puts him at ease every time. Nicky also cuts my hair, and she always gets it exactly how I want it. Thank you so much, Nicky, for your professionalism, care, and fantastic service. We wouldn’t go anywhere else.

   I have trust issues with anyone doing my hair after it went so badly a few years ago. I came to Howards and the girls made a very good job of a bad hair do! They make you feel very welcome and they genuinely care about each client they see. They always do a fantastic job on my hair. I travel from Margate to Hackbridge to get my hair done because I will not go anywhere else. I recommend Howards 100% to anyone. Nothing is too big or too small for these lovely ladies.

   I am leaving a fair and honest review. The hairdressers are absolutely lovely but I wouldn’t go back here. I went in for a balayage and asked them to keep it natural. I came out with caramel blonde highlights. I also asked for face framing and never got that. This was hair I wanted done for a wedding. They totally didn’t listen to me (I feel) so much so I didn’t sleep the whole night and called them first thing to try and get in in the morning the day before the wedding. Now to be fair to them they did see me to fix the hair and I didn’t pay again (rightly so). But when I say they fixed it, I basically came out the salon with black hair, didn't look like a balayage at all & I was charged £130. I came out with darker hair than when I went in which was not what I wanted. I felt so uncomfortable with my hair at this wedding and really regret coming to do my hair here.

   So pleased to have found this hair salon . I have been to many hairdressers .. from expensive Toni and Guy and Sean Hanna to cheap tiny salons and this salon has given me the best experience of all. Their prices are very reasonable, they follow your instructions, very friendly lovely staff and the best result. It’s a lovely experience from beginning to end.I always get complimented on my hair now which didn’t always happen when I had my hair highlighted and cut elsewhere. I will never give this one up!!!

   Lovely salon, wonderful staff, great salon atmosphere, always feel welcome and have a lovely cup of tea. ALWAYS come out pleased with my hair ! Always running on time, always listen to the colour and style I’d like and get it right! Good pricing too!

   I'm so dissatisfied, disappointed with the Hair Dressing business. I'm so sure Barber shops have better quality skills to serve. Woman's hair dressing business needs to be regulated, with skills, ability and what they charge to people. it's not acceptable that, for the last 8 years I've had ridiculously bad hair cut in 8 different, somewhat local hair dresses. it's shameful that unskilled people are making money and the damage is to great for the customers. Stop it! don't take on business you can deliver with significant quality, style required. I received an awful hair cut and it'll take me well over a year to grow out the errors. I had to get a second hair dress to attempt a correction cut and that isn't manageable either. Standards in London are reduced in all aspects of daily living while the cost is far too high with no justice to customers.

   Absolutely lovely salon, all are very friendly and polite, fantastic customer service. They have always made me feel so welcome. Kate always does my hair and she always gets it exactly how I ask, since covid and the salon being closed, I have returned today and they are still on top form. I couldn't wish for a better salon then Howard's, if you want a friendly hair salon, and if you want the job done right then I highly recommend Howard's. Thank you Kate (aka nikki) for always doing a fantastic job on my thick hair. Regards Em G
