   I’ve been going since I was around 15 and I love every style, treatment, and trim I’ve gotten! They’re all lovely, patient, and welcoming, they make recommendations in styles that interest me and I end up really loving - which many have found difficult because of my fussiness and dislike of change. Thank you to all the wonderful women that have done my monstrosity of hair and been able to do it in a timely manner for how much of it there is, I couldn’t ask for better ♥️ (the braids were done today) (the hair out was one of my first times coming to this hairdresser)

   I first visited hair architecture as a customer 10 years ago and had a good experience. I must say that over the years, very high standards have been maintained and the atmosphere is always great. The staff are professional and friendly and prices are reasonable. I always feel at home at hair architecture and I am always pleased with the service. Great value!

   Great Atmosphere, high prices, unsatisfied with expertise/hairstyling. I went to this salon to get spring twist. I have never had spring twist before, so I came to this salon for its acclaimed expertise on this style. I was told that spring twist was a popular hairstyle and that it costs £150, to get it done. Firstly the banter and conversation in the salon was electric. So, I had a great 8 hours there, they gave me tea multiple times and it was good vibes. When the hair was completed, it looked great. The hairdresser informed me that the style will last for 2 months, etc. 6 days later, the spring twist were falling out, my hair looked rough and I couldn't believe I paid £150 for my hair to last less than a week. I got in contact with the salon to let them know, to which I was repeatedly told that this type of twist doesn't last long and that if it is done another way, it will. I was given every excuse under the sun about what I done to not make it last long. After a 2 days of discussion about my grievances, and several attempts on the salons behalf to make me come in to redo it. I told them that the high price did not reflect the finish product, because the hair was falling out withing the first week. Nor did the high price reflect the expertise and professionalism expected when getting your hair done at a salon. I asked to be compensated back £75, and I got £70. My advice is this salon is good for a trim, wash, treatment, etc... but twists/braiding is a no no. Especially if you are trying something new out and you need a hairdresser guidance. This salon is OK. I wouldn't go back. Great to see an afro salon in child's hill though.
