   Hurly Burly are absolute lifesavers. Another salon cancelled on me last minute, so I rang them in a panic — they squeezed me in the very next day, in their only slot, and I’m so glad they did. I had Kirsty, who is hands-down the best colourist I’ve ever been to. She transformed my damaged blonde into the most gorgeous autumnal strawberry blonde, and I’m obsessed with it. She’s incredibly talented, cool, and someone I now trust completely with my hair. The whole salon has a lovely, welcoming vibe, and I think I’ve found my go-to place in London. If I can, I’ll be booking Kirsty every time. Highly recommend!

My hair has naturally changed over the years, including periods of hair loss, and her depth of experience means she’s always able to adapt and help me achieve the look I want. Visiting the salon feels like catching up with an old friend; I always enjoy my time chatting with Kirsty. I would wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, skilled, and genuinely caring hairstylist.

I’ve been a customer for years, having had both haircuts and colour treatments from various stylists—and I’ve always left feeling delighted with the outcome. Special mention goes to Cedric and Iwona, who have regularly styled my hair in the past. They’re not only highly skilled, but also genuinely lovely people who are passionate about what they do. My most recent highlights by Cedric were a perfect example of his talent—his eye for colour and precision in cutting earned me compliments from family, friends and even strangers!    Our family salon for over 10 years! I have been coming with my sons since they were 4 years of age. Cedric has looked after us so well all these years - extremely warm, friendly, unpretentious and excellent at styling and cutting our straight East Asian hair. Even though we moved to north London many years ago, we return to Hurly Burly regularly! We have a great connection with Cedric! Highly recommend this excellent independent hair salon!

   This is the best hairdresser I've been to in London. From the booking process to the cut, the staff is so so close to their costumers and so professional, I can tell that they really care. I have always had a good welcoming from the team. I am going to Hurly Burly for 4 years now and they 've always been consistent with the quality of their services. Cedric has been looking after my hair and has always been on top of everything. I have never felt so happy after each haircut! I really love to go there and I would recommend this place with no doubts. This is a high quality standards!

   The staff was very attentive and everyone was really friendly. However, it seems like the hairdresser decided to change the way my hair is cut to apparently give it more volume, however, he didn’t consult with me about this new type of cut and now I hate how my hair looks. He did ask me about the length and how much to cut, but now my ends look really choppy rather than firm as I liked how they looked previously…

   I'm so please I found Cedric. Ive been living in London for 10 years, and have struggled to find anyone who fully 'got' me in terms of my goals and my hair type. Cedric really emerses himself in understanding what you want. My first appointment we discuss my long term goals, and he managed my short term expectations well. I've had 3 appointments since, and my hair is perfect. I appreciated his honesty - after booking in for a full head of highlights and a cut, knowing I want to grow my hair, suggested leaving the cut. Most hairdressers in London would've just taken my money. He does my baby lights so well, that I'm able to go an additional 4 weeks onto of my 8 weeks before my next visit - saving me 2 appointments per year. Can't recommend him enough. Thank you.

   I have been to Hurly Burly 3 times now and have had my hair done by Cedric. He is amazing at cutting. My hair needs no styling by me, just a rough blow dry after washing and it falls into place. Im super happy with the cut and style. Very happy also with my highlights and root touch up. The salon is super cool and a great place to relax. It’s my happy place!
