   Love Gerry! I’ve been going to him for touch-ups over the past year after my first highlight appointment, and every visit has been such a great experience. Gerry is warm, genuine, and always plays good music in his studio. I also love that he uses organic dyes, I often feel that my hair texture improves after a dye rather than the opposite because of how high-quality the products are.

   I am French, over 50, and my hair really lacks density. No matter how many hairdressers I visited, the result never quite felt how I pictured it in my head. I was in Dulwich visiting my daughter and she recommended Gerry. Gerry managed the amazing task of giving volume to my hair – without using any product, just with his cutting technique. His salon is different from the usual cold standards, you really feel comfortable there. So happy with the whole experience, I will definitely come back next time I am in London. Highly recommend this salon!

   Hair By Gerry, what can I say - super friendly and warm person - relaxed and homely atmosphere - I feel at ease in the seat - He takes the time to understand what I vision, and creatively advises. Really in love with my most recent colour, cut and blow-dry - I left feeling fabulous and that wasn't the first time! Highly recommend.

   I found Gerry via treatwell 2 years ago. As someone who grew up with a family who ran a famous Mayfair hairdressers in the 70s/80s/90s - I'm incredibly untrusting of hairdressers and colourists. With Gerry, he made me feel loved and relaxed and makes my thin hair beautiful every time - it even grows out wonderfully too. Cannot recommend enough.

   I am shocked at my appointment with hair by Gerry. I booked in for half a head of highlights, wanted them natural and to blend through. They came out very streaky and when I pointed out they were streaky Gerry disagreed and then I pointed to one very obvious streak and then he says “that’s how they like it in Italy”. I was served a tea in a mug which was incredibly dirty, and my hair was washed in the bathroom sink! After expressing my disappointment to Gerry, he simply said “guess you’ll have to find someone else next time”. I still paid full price and I am looking to get my hair fixed somewhere else! I have never left a bad review for somewhere, but I would kick myself if I didn’t because I am so disappointed by my experience.

   Gerry did a wonderful job of my cut and colour. This was my first time getting colour and Gerry really put me at ease. I contacted him by email and he came back very quickly. He listened to exactly what I wanted, did touch ups to get it just right, and was lovely to chat to. I've gotten quite anxious about going to a hairdresser in the past but found Gerry's home salon way more relaxing than a standard salon. Will definitely be back to see Gerry again :)
