I was there today, I was so disappointed with the services, this is my third. When first one I came, I was waiting then I saw nurse speak very impolite to the patient, I think that's not nice. When my turn come, I asked Doctor how long it take for my prescriptions done. He said 15 minutes. I went to Farmacy 30 minutes later, Pharmacy staff said None. I went back to GP I waited after 15 minutes then the Nurse said done. I went to Farmacy I found that the Nurse lied. the pharmacy staff calls the Nurse, then she said sorry she was lying. Then the pharmacy staff said to me, I will call you when done for collection, which I come and collected the next day. My second appointment was not problem because I understand now, I should go to Pharmacy next day. But the Third time which is today. I was so disappointed. I believed my record must show why I need to see Doctor. Its because Anxiety attack resulted from I am Acehnese, We experienced Genocide and Ethnic Cleansing, many of my relatives got killed by Indonesian Army or Police. And the worse part, Currently Aceh experienced Geological Genocide where flood , Mud and water destroyed many villages and homes. After flood destroyed everything the aid hardly come and people continue dying. I don't know what to do, Acehnese People continue suffered but Indonesia stop aid donation from people coming to Aceh. Many Children, women and elderly continue dying lack of food, medical supply, and basic need. I keep repeating why I need Doctor, I am worry sick and very anxious. I forget many things, I forget where I put my phones, my keys I forgot times because my mind occupied with tragedy that repeated, after they killed many of Us for 80 years, then 2004 big tsunami happen, Now Land slide, Mud flood with big dry trees come from montains destroyed peoples because of Indonesia and other countries corporation continue taking gas, oil, gold, old trees like 100 years or thousand years trees. Cause ecological genocide. that's why I was late for 20 minutes. I said I never late, the lateness because my anxious and worry, I said repeatly I need to see Doctor Urgently, many people in my place are dying I feel so sad, worry and anxious. I repeat many times Rather than listen they dismissed me. The nurse said she messages Doctor but I am not sure what I know they dismissed me. I comeback home feeling so sad and worry, anxious, angry, disappointed . I thought the Doctor will looks at my record and understand why? and the Nurse too I keep saying many people died now, I am so worry I need to see Doctor to get prescription urgently, rather than they look at my data and listen, they continue dismissed me. What kind of Doctor and Nurse when patient in urgent need rather than understanding and asking why when I said my people continue dying, they just dismissed with the reason they are too busy. I feel so sad and disappointed. I was thought the Doctor and Nurse will understand why it is urgent and I don't do it on purpose but they just so arrogant to even listen

This is the worse experience I have had at any NHS facility in my life and I’m 48. To start off with the receptionist were pleasant and friendly after that went drastically down hill from there. Moved area recently so changed GP huge mistake. I was waiting 45 minutes for my appointment which isn’t a big deal to get decent care but because I didn’t that annoyed me after too. Soon as I walked in, I just felt like I was needed to be gone straight away. First words said to me why are you here? Why are you hear? I started to explain to get completely cut off. I asked to repeat a sentence because the GP spoke so fast, the GP replied by pointing her finger at me and saying I’ve already told you. This was in the 2 minutes of being there. Every time after that I tried to say something I was just interrupted within about 5 seconds and talked over. I had a handful of flyers pushed at me and show the door. That was my 5 minutes over. Absolutely shocking. At first I thought maybe this was a busy day and I caught the GP on a bad day. Then I come here and there’s multiple reviews saying the same thing about I assume is the same GP. I understand GPs have a difficult job but I’ve dealt with so many over the years as I have moved a lot over my time but I have never felt how I was made to feel that day. Obviously I have a new GP now who is a world of difference. Anyone looking to move here please don’t. You will dread to call if you need a GP and delay going which could cause health concerns. I know because that’s exactly what I did.

Not great. Was unable to get prescribed medicine for a skin condition I had even despite having papers for my prescription from a dermatologist. Was also advised by Clover City Practice (three times) to go to the Walk in Centre for an X-ray for another issue and was then told at the Walk in Centre that they don't have an X-ray machine ffs!

It's incredibly disappointing when a doctor lacks attentive listening skills. During my GP appointment, the doctor kept repeatedly asking, "How can I help you?" even after I had already begun explaining my concerns. This pattern continued throughout the consultation, making it clear that she wasn’t truly listening but was instead rushing to a conclusion. I even pointed out that I felt rushed, yet she insisted she wasn’t rushing me—only to immediately ask again, "How can I help you?" This constant interruption made me hesitant to share the full details of my condition. A patient needs to be heard, not repeatedly cut off with the same question. On top of that, she seemed unwilling to provide a detailed explanation of my illness, my diet, or other important aspects of my health, instead pushing brochures on me rather than taking the time to explain things properly. I had to keep pressing for answers before she finally provided more details. She also dismissed my symptoms—despite my persistent dizziness and fatigue—simply because nothing showed up in my blood tests. But symptoms matter, even if they aren’t reflected in lab results. When I tried to ask more about my blood test results—especially considering it had been three months since they were taken—she seemed uninterested, as if she didn’t understand the importance of the follow-up. Additionally, she never told me how much time was actually allocated for my appointment but kept reminding me that other patients were waiting. Every patient deserves their fair share of time and attention, yet I waited 25 minutes past my scheduled time only to receive a rushed 15-minute consultation. To make matters worse, when she checked my blood pressure, she simply said it "wasn't that low," without giving me the actual reading. Does a patient have to wait until it's dangerously low before it's considered a concern? This experience was extremely frustrating—poor communication, lack of empathy, and a dismissive attitude toward my condition. The level of service was unacceptable, especially considering the amount of money paid into the NHS.

I've just moved to a different GP and can't believe the difference in how much more helpful the receptionists are. I thought it was just one of those things to put up with, but moving elsewhere was eye opening. The service here is shocking and there's only one receptionist who is actually helpful and speaks to you like a human being.

Not happy with the level of service received. Doctor seems to be unfamiliar with the common diseases.

Can never get an appointment. I called for a week straight. Nothing. Was in the queue for 3 minutes then it tells me all the appointments are gone already every time.

I haven't been in years and I called at 8 and the doctor "trainee" made an appointment for me to come in to the gp practice. First of all I rang again after while as I didn't receive a text and receptionist over phone said we don't send text and then they sent one after the call ended- very strange. Anyways the doctor "trainee" didn't know what was going on and I already explained everything over the phone to him but I had to tell him in again in person. In the end he said what can we do for you and I just had to Say, just give me antibiotics so strange as he had no clue.

I’ve been registered with this practice since I moved to Sheffield a few years ago; it has all the services you need and it’s well located near public transport. Dr Rowe, my GP is easy to talk to and takes the time to listen to my concerns. I was offered great support for a long term illness, any follow ups or access to other services have always been quick. Thanks Clover City Practice and thank you for your support, Dr Rowe!
