   I just got my haircut here for the first time yesterday with Josh – and what a wonderful experience! He’s so kind, thoughtful, and really knows how to make your natural hair work for you and your face shape! I’ve always found my hair difficult to deal with a lot of the time because I didn’t feel like there was much I could do with it. (My hair texture is a little unusual – a mix of slick/flyaway fine strands, with tiny bits of thicker/wavy strands throughout, and there’s a lot of it.) I appreciated so much how attentive he was. He showed me tips on how to style it, and he really took into consideration that your hairstyle needs to work for your personal lifestyle. I’m a low-maintenance person, and he really thought about the longevity and suitability – and importantly, how to elevate and showcase your natural beauty. I feel so much more confident – I can’t believe how much this one haircut completely transformed how I look and feel. I highly recommend going to Josh – getting your haircut with his kindness and joyful spirit makes all the difference in the world when you go through a hair and beauty transformation! The salon itself is a welcoming and warm environment, and I can’t express enough that it’s more than worth it to come here and refresh yourself. You’ll find that you can relax and know without a doubt that they’ll do what’s best for you, your natural hair, and your confidence, in a way that actually works for your lifestyle going forward!    The Box in Deptford is absolutely fantastic. The whole team is incredibly knowledgeable, you can tell they really understand hair and take pride in what they do. I had my appointment with Daniella and she was amazing from start to finish. She listened to exactly what I wanted, gave expert advice based on my hair type, and delivered a result that genuinely exceeded my expectations. Her attention to detail and warm, professional approach made the whole experience a pleasure. I walked out feeling great about my hair. Highly recommend The Box, and especially Daniella!

   I don't usually leave reviews but I am so happy with my haircut I felt I needed to. The staff were all so lovely and welcoming. Vanessa listened to me and cut my hair exactly how I wanted it. It did cost a bit more money than what I would usually pay but considering the amount of times I have had bad experiences at hairdressers, this place is definitely worth the cost. I left feeling great about my hair. I would definitely recommend

   This is the best salon in Deptford, or maybe even the best in London. They listen to you, they look after you, and they give you a great haircut. If you want a wash and trim it's fab. if you want bright orange hair they do that amazingly too and give you special conditioner to protect it. They don't care about your gender, sexulaity or anything like that. LGBT friendly; they just have no need for a rainbow flag. Well done The Box Deptford.

   Absolutely love my hair after Georgina done a fantastic job. Immediately Georgina made me feel comfortable and was so knowledgeable about hair and products - she even showed be how to blow dry my own hair by getting me to try practice in front of her. Will definitely be returning!
