So glad I came across Pavlina after a search for ‘acupuncture for fertility’. We have been trying to conceive for 10 years, had 3 rounds of IVF & I have been to 2 other acupuncture practices, none of which I was happy with or made any difference. My experience with Pavlina couldn’t have been more different!! She is very professional, kind & knowledgeable & actually listens & explains things. Her treatment room is in a lovely serene setting & I found the treatments very relaxing. I definitely felt more relaxed, more energy & balanced after going for weekly treatment & most important of all it worked!! Pavlina is fantastic, I can’t express enough how much she has helped me. Before treatment, I was struggling to walk and had had chronic back and leg pain for about 2 years on and off. I was pretty apprehensive to try acupuncture again, worried that it would be painful having had a bad experience with another acupuncturist before but I was so wrong. Pavlina took extra time to explain everything and making sure I felt 100% comfortable. I can honestly say I would never go to anyone else. So far with Pavlina I have had electro acupuncture, acupuncture, cupping, manual manipulation and now I’m trying Chinese herbs with her (these are all for different treatment purposes). My chronic leg and back pain has for the most part fully disappeared and my life has changed immensely as a result. Thank you so much Pavlina, I cannot thank you enough!
From the first meeting, Pavlina was so kind and generous with her time and her support. She asked me many questions trying to understand my life and health. I felt listened to for the first time. I knew nothing about Chinese Herbal medicine before contacting Pavlina and attended with an open mind, hopeful that it would help me. At the first appointment, she explained everything clearly. I fully embraced the treatment and have continued to take my herbs daily ever since. The combination of the herbal medicine and acupuncture has been wonderful. Pavlina is an absolute gem and I could not recommend her more highly. She is extremely knowledgeable, professional and takes the time to explain the acupuncture in terms of both the musculoskeletal and Chinese interpretations. The treatment room is always clean and well presented. It is obvious that she truly cares for her patients and just wants to help. The price for appointments is definitely fair and despite over-running considerably on some of my appointments she has refused any offer of additional payment - such a rarity. I have suffered from constant neck and shoulder pain for 3 years, in this period I have seen a chiropractor (provided short term relief but nothing more), NHS Physiotherapists (pointless) and a private physio (provided some useful techniques that I still use). However, none of these have helped relieve my symptoms as much as Pavlina. The least I could do is show my gratitude by writing this review.
Pavlina spent time getting to know me and understand my reasons for trying acupuncture. She is extremely professional and thorough and put me at ease with her gentle questioning. The treatment room is calm and relaxing. Pavlina spent time explaining how acupuncture works and was very happy to answer any questions. During my first treatment Pavlina talked me through the process of what she was doing. It was extremely relaxing and painless. That evening I felt amazing and had the best night’s sleep! I have since had bi-weekly treatments for different symptoms of menopause and also migraines. Each time my sessions have felt just as relaxing and never rushed. My symptoms are definitely lessened after each treatment and I am pleased to say that I have not had a migraine since Pavlina treated me for my last one. Pavlina has now recommended I reduce my treatments to monthly. I can’t wait to go back! .
