I have been using this surgery for longer than I should have. While I have met some great practitioners, GPs, Physios, Nurses etc and kind people working on the desk the lack of quality service overall cannot be overlooked. When I was younger I was referred to the hospital only for the GP surgery to cancel it prescribing painkillers instead of looking into the issue. Similar things have continued dependent entirely on which Dr I have seen on the day. The new Triage system has been the last straw, I am moving to a different surgery to see if it is any better elsewhere. When ever there's an issue I find the practice manager to be at the very least unsympathetic and not able to show empathy for emotion. I feel there are probably more patients than the surgery can truly manage.

I have received outstanding care from Sloan, including a medical emergency earlier this year. I always received a follow-up call after appointments, and all the staff are polite and helpful. Without doubt the best surgery I have ever been with.

Dr Imogen Chan was excellent. She had clearly read my notes before my appointment about an ongoing condition which has not yet resolved, despite treatment. She was very professional and I felt listened to and taken seriously. She was sympathetic to how long it had been going on for. Dr Chan came up with a plan moving forward which I was happy with. She carefully explained my condition to me and why it was possibly not clearing up as quickly as I would have liked. I was given time and didn't feel rushed. After my consultation was over, she messaged me to explain how I could take my medication more effectively and I also noted that she had a debrief with another doctor about my condition and plan moving forwards. I think it was the most positive experience I have had at the doctors. Thank you.

My child is registered at this doctors and has been for just over a year now. Not too sure whether it's because she is a child, but I have never had an issue (even been squeezed in for an appointment when there wasnt any). Everybody seems nice and friendly. They have been very helpful with my child's needs. Every doctor and nurse we've seen so far have all been very nice.

The worst GP in Sheffield , I have experienced nothing but unprofessionalism. The staff are appalling and useless. I’ve rang in numerous time and they refuse to see me I’ve asked to speak to speak to the manger ‘rose ‘ who is more useless then the receptionist.

I've found the staff here to be ok in general and the doctors I've seen have been great. BUT the booking system is awful. Rang 22 times this morning before I even got in a queue. Then waited 23 mins for the phone to be answered and was then told not only were there no appointments today, but they're not booking any appointments for the foreseeable future!!. The receptionist was very nice and helped as best she could, but not sure what I'm meant to do now, other than ring up and spend an hour on the phone every morning hoping to get an appointment :-(

Worse Dr ever, they make you phone in morning over 200 times to get through to be told to do covid test. The receptionist have no empathy or understanding so I suffer. I have called four days in a row waited for almost an hour each time to be told to call tomorrow. Disgusting behaviour from the staff with no empathy or sympathy

My family joined SMC recently as it's closer to home than previous GP. I was a bit sceptical about it due to some reviews, but my experience so far has only been very positive. A couple of weeks ago, my son was ill and after we phoned at 8am, the doctor called back within an hour. There was an option to go in for a face-to-face appointment, but we were happy with the phone call (it wasn't serious, we just needed rational advice). I don't remember the doctor's name now, but they were very helpful and arranged for a sample to be taken. Swift and efficient all round. Thank you to all the staff for your help.
