I saw Dr Jack Marshall on a recent appointment. It was a very worrying time for me and he was professional kind and reassuring . He referred me quickly to a specialist and I was fully informed of the process. I hope he stays with the practice thank you .
I’ve been a patient on and off for 55 years and have to say that aside from Dr Stoodley and her amazing input to that surgery it’s not a patch on what it used to be!! Very disappointing!! Some of the staff and Drs perhaps need a refresher course on how to communicate with people who are ill. There is no point contacting Helen when she has financial and workload constraints!! It’s just not the place I once knew!! I’m sad to say I’m even contemplating moving to another surgery as I’m that disgruntled
My son has been trying to ring this surgery for nearly a week, getting no answer ..he ended up at A&E with pleurisy and placed on two lots of antibiotics, he has now tried ringing the surgery for a sick note, still no reply so I have tried ringing twice, automated reply saying surgery is now closed when checked it says surgery open until 6 30p..Shocking.
While waiting for word from at least 3 hospitals, GP was sending me texts to see if I'd heard anything. GP then chased them up after I'd heard nothing. Brilliant. Hospital was impressed too!
I wouldn't recommend anyone Absolutely pathetic booking system now it's gone to an online triage form. You never get chance to see or speak to anyone apart from a receptionist, who's answer is always "sorry, we're full to capacity"!? And if they wanna say sorry we are full booked than put a voicemail of this thing why to pay receptionist to say that.. crazy
Just want to say a massive thank you , to Dr Church who always looks after myself and my husband on every visit and all the staff that ring us back creating further appointments for us . It's much appreciated the kind work you do .
I ve been with the surgery since 2019 and can never complain. I have always been attended to Phone call backs, e consukt call backs, 8 am appointment, 12 am online appointment ( whilst it were there) , nurses , Gps and staff are all helpful. The negative ratings are nothing I have ever experienced at this surgery. Am totally satisfied with the service. While the system is strained,they still are doing a great job.
Be in phone consultation, nurse practitioner or even day GP, you know there is someone taking care of you or will take care of you soon. I can vouch on their service. Just one bad interaction with a part time Dr but I was sent an apology.
Terrible service. Visited the doctors this morning and was told to go somewhere else as they don’t do the procedure I called up about. Same thing happened with the same doctor a few months ago when I had temporary deafness in my ears. Was told they don’t do the procedure and to leave. Don’t understand why I wasn’t able to be told on the phone when booking the original appointment instead of having to travel to the surgery and be told to leave.
Poor service and lacking in professionally, Was told to switch over my medication to twice daily but wasn’t given a prescription for it meaning I was using my medication within two weeks as apposed to a months worth, essentially meaning I was expected to be left for half a month at a time unmedicated for severe mental health, Today I called at 14:15, it’s not 16:47 and we’ve had to call 5/6 times just to try and get things sorted, which they haven’t, it seems like the reception staff, pharmacy staff and doctor staff have no clue what’s happening and are running round like headless chickens with complete disregard for patients with severe and complex mental health. Will be moving to another surgery, this surgery seems like it’s a playground most of the time with how everything is ordered. Very disappointing.
