    Yes chatgpt used, ranted and it helped me abit; I visited this salon on 13 December for a wash and blow dry and specifically requested a blowout, showing an inspo pic. My stylist was Sam. Despite this, Sam used excessive heat and curling techniques that resulted in tight curls rather than an airy blowout. I wasn’t wearing contact lenses, so I relied on professional judgment, but the result did not resemble what I asked for or the reference shown. The manager later became involved, he stated that the issue was because the inspiration photo did not suit my hair type. I strongly disagree with this, as the inspiration model and I have the same natural hair type (curly). If the salon or stylist is unable to work confidently with natural curls or textured hair, this should have been communicated clearly beforehand, rather than proceeding and then shifting blame afterward. My hair had been bleached and balayaged only four days earlier, making it extremely sensitive. There appeared to be little to no heat protection, and my hair was repeatedly gone over multiple times with very high heat. The heat was also directed at my scalp and face, which became uncomfortable. I clearly stated multiple times that I did not want any more heat due to concerns about damage and my wellbeing (I have asthma and am sensitive to hairspray). Despite this, both Sam and the receptionist repeatedly pressured me to allow Sam to “fix it,” even after I had clearly said no. The final result was frizzy, over-styled hair that was heavily coated in hairspray, which I asked to stop as it was being sprayed close to my face. Sam’s attitude during this process felt passive-aggressive, and she attempted to blame my haircut and hair type rather than acknowledging the concerns raised. Another stylist, Diana, tried to help and offer input, but the manager signalled for her not to speak, which made the situation feel dismissive. I also want to note that I approached the situation as calmly and respectfully as possible. As Sam and I are both South Asian, and she is older than me, I made a conscious effort to be polite and respectful throughout, despite being clearly unhappy with the service. Unfortunately, that respect was not returned, and I felt spoken down to. Age should not be used to dismiss valid concerns. Rather than resolving the issue professionally, the situation escalated, and I was ultimately told I was not allowed to return to the salon, despite the manager agreeing that I would not be charged. After leaving, my friend (who was also a client that day) realised she had a visible burn on her skin from a hair dryer from a different stylist. She chose not to raise this at the time to avoid escalating the situation. I also felt uncomfortable with the pressure to leave a positive review in exchange for a 5% discount, including being asked directly by Sam to do so. Because reviews are incentivised in this way, I feel this may affect how accurately some experiences are represented online. Since this appointment, unwanted warm/orange tones have appeared in my hair, meaning I now have to pay £100 for an early toner to correct damage that should not have occurred from a simple blow-dry. Overall, this experience raised serious concerns regarding heat safety, working with natural curls, respect for client boundaries, and how complaints are handled. I would not recommend this salon, particularly for clients with bleached, curly, or sensitive hair. Tried using pictures to show but yeah. the one with the heart on is how i left. and my friend tried fixing it with some serum but it just wasn’t working well but it helped it be less puffy but within the images (the coloured hair) u can see my hair changing if that makes sense and then i only got one picture of the back of the hair. that was the first time she done it. and she didn’t even try and brush it out or burning because its “what people get nowadays” anyways yeah then the pictures of the forehead and stuff is my friend issue and then the picture of the qr code is the 5% off thing. ok thanks done now.

    The stylist did an amazing job with my hair colour, exactly the tones and shades I wanted. They listened carefully, paid attention to detail, and the result is stunning. I would like to acknowledge efforts from Saeed (he does fab work). The service was friendly and professional, and I left feeling really happy with the look. Also, I had a cut for my daughter and the lady done a great job. She was very friendly and my daughter enjoyed the haircut and also the new stylish look. Would definitely come again and recommend too!

    Excellent service by Codi on the 11th! He’s incredible at what he does! It was my first time at Supercuts and I was beyond impressed by Codi. He’s not only good at what he does, but has excellent customer service - he listens, takes his time and is great to converse with! It was a great start to the morning!     I am a regular customer to Supercuts for almost more than a year. I never missed my appointment and I was regular to all my appointments. Even Supercuts made me wait for 2 times for 5 min one time and 15min another time. I understood their situation and waited without any complaints. Today I was late for 10min due to some reasons and they have cancelled my appointment saying I am 10min late without understanding my situation. Staff didn’t show any sympathy or they were not kind enough to understand my situation for one time late among all my appointments. I could see there were no customer and 2 staffs was sitting idle. Staff said he have another appointment after 20min. My haircut usually takes 20 to 25min and he is aware of that and he didn’t agree for my request to do the haircut. I can’t take service where there is no kindness or sympathy. They could have handled the situation in different way but I am not happy with the way they have handled this situation. Supercuts missed one regular customer.

    Thank you Claire for a fabulous haircut..my new hairdo really lifted my spirit! All the girls in the salon were lovely and friendly and accommodated me (without even asking) wearing my hijab. Reasonable priced and was told I could get a further 10% off if I booked online. Will definitely recommend and definitely go back again :))
