Wash cut colour and styling by Lucy was excellent. Lovely staff there and reasonably priced was very happy with the result. Highly recommended..
Lovely local hairdresser, clean and comfortable, my first time going, had my hair cut by Lucy, she was super friendly and approachable will definitely be going back again.
I just had my cut and blowdry with Abi. She was amazing! So friendly and sweet. Well the cut was amazing, honestly one of the best cuts I’ve had in years. She listened to what I wanted and delivered big time! My hair is lovely! Can’t wait to see what she can do with my colour in a couple of months!
The only hairdresser I go to. No matter who cuts my hair, I always get what I've asked for. The staff go above and beyond for me. Always chatty, always clean, and a very professional with a personal touch also. Haircut and colour done today by Abi and I cannot fault her at all. John always greets us upon arrival. John does fantastically in keeping up with my husbands hair/beard and his son who has additional needs. Both of my children also have their hairs cut here, my youngest also has additional needs and they manage the appointments with little to no fuss. Highly recommend ❤️
I visited Mac’s yesterday and experienced thorough knowledge and understanding of my hair and how I should move forward. On entering salon I was warmly greeted by John, Jackie and Abigail. As I am on the spectrum I get anxiety yet Jackie & Abigail took their time to support me. John is a lovely young man whom barbers a lot of children’s hair and it was lovely to see happy parents! Jackie & Abigail worked on my hair and I am SO glad I went with their knowledge. The shop was busy, clean, welcoming and I love their hospitality. Abigail makes a brilliant cuppa! Thank you to Jackie for saving my dried up colour mess hair ❤️
My little boy had his hair done today by John, really good job, very good with my son. I'm really pleased with the result and will definitely be bringing him back.
It's difficult to explain the experience really. I'd say on first appearances staff seem friendly, however they seem to treat some clients with a more respectful attitude. I couldn't help but feel there was a general standards of beauty snobbery. Had I been a slim thing with a manicure I feel I'd have been treated better. I got spoken down to by the hairdresser doing my hair. She suggested I'd been washing my hair in the bath and that's why there was a build up of skin on the scalp etc. I told her that was not the case, I don't take baths, I shower, and explained about psoriasis, which I now have diagnosed. It was clear she didn't believe me however. It's quite like a playground clique, if you don't look a certain way then you'll get treated like you shouldn't be there. I didn't feel comfortable. It's not nice to feel looked down on. There are some other factors also which I don't want to go into. However I would say they're not Autism child friendly or understanding either. I tried this hairdressers a few times for sake of convenience on area, however have found a hairdressers in Lewisham I'd rather travel to. A kinder attitude can go far
For the last year I have been going to Mac salon. All the staff are extremely kind, the atmosphere is also very convivial and you are going to feel very welcome. No matter what age group or gender you are, they seem to know how to perfectly style your hair. Everyone seems to leave the place very happy and the prices are very competitive. We have a little gem in Plumstead.
I visited today for the 1st time and I am really happy with my 2 tones full head highlights. I was very comfortable with Aïcha. Recommend and will visit again
First time for me and I'll be back for sure. I am a bit fassy, I have a lot of wild hair and difficult to style. The cut that Jade made, although slightly different from what I thought, is among the most beautiful and accurate I have ever done in a really long time. The quality of the result is clearly superior to its price. Highly recommended
