   This is the second review I'm leaving and, judging from my overall experience, I would no longer recommend this service. Or, at least, proceed with caution. The first couple of times were absolutely fine, with picture updates and my dog returning back to us in a normal way. However, the service became progressively worse to the point we thought she was just abandoning our dog. Weight loss, scruffy look, and lots of crying from my dog leads me to believe she wasn't taken care of. Last time we got her back was the last straw. She looked like a homeless dog that had never been touched, left abandoned, lost weight, and was whining like never before. At that point we decided never again. It had become too expensive and our dog clearly hated it. We love our dog too much to leave it with someone who clearly doesn't provide the right care. I wouldn't be surprised if she mistreated her as well. If you love your dog, I'd probably look elsewhere. If it's just a dog to you, then go ahead.

   It’s took a few days for me to process things and I wasn’t going to leave a review but I feel I have too for anyone who loves their dog as much as I love mine. When I first met Kirstie she came across as a really nice, genuine person and I felt really comfortable leaving my dog with her/them for 9 nights. Being completely honest I’m pretty disgusted in the state I picked Bailey back up in. Although I provided weighed out and labelled food for each day I could see he had lost weight, you could see his ribs and his harness was loose which has always been tight! He was dirty with stained eyes which he didn’t have before I left him. Endless panting through dehydration and backwards sneezing which has never been that bad before. I mean they could have least cleaned/wiped his eyes! The large amount of forms you fill in prior to the stay specifically asks questions about using dog shampoo and you could clearly see he had not been cleaned or washed at all!! He had 2 cuts, one on his head and one under his neck which means he had obviously been bitten by another dog!! He was severely malnourished and has slept most days since I picked him back up. He is half the dog he was before I left him there. He was that hungry he nearly took my hand off when I fed him. I am really disappointed in how he’s come back home and urge no one to send there dog there. I have read lots of good reviews but I’m sorry to say this one isn’t. No real updates and I had to text 3 days in to my holiday to ask if he was okay. No videos or pictures of walks which leads me to believe there weren’t any. Overall shocking tbh and I won’t ever be using Hotel for Hounds again.

   My dogs stayed with Kirstie for their first ever holiday break without us. They came home happy and healthy like they'd never been away. We got regular pup dates and they looked to be enjoying their brak as much as us. Already looking to book for next year's holiday.

   Luna loves her second home so much . Always looked after and the environment Kirstie has created for all the dogs is second to none. Would recommend to anyone !

   Left my dog here for a week whilst I went on holiday and it’s not all what it’s made out to be. Don’t be deceived by the pictures. My dog lost weight and was very withdrawn. I was told by a friend that kirsty is in this for the money and not the love of dogs and my dog wasn’t walked or cared for like kirsty promised. Please avoid if you love your dogs

   Absolutely amazing. She is patient with my Doris who has nervous and anxiety problems. Now over a year of going she loves it when we pull up outside and she cant wait to get in. Kirsty is great I'd be lost without her

   Kirstie is a god send. Our pup is under her care for one day every week and he absolutely loves going. We have sent him to other day cares before and he didn't react well to going back, but he gets excited to arrive at Hotel 4 Hounds (which says a lot). He has slept over on numerous occasions and we always receive updates, photos and videos of how he is. We totally trust that our pup is being well looked after and couldn't recommend more!
