Thank you for looking after Purrcy so well while we were away he seems to have loved it and settled in back home wonderfully all the staff in the cattery were marvellous and looked after my little pampered prince so well he even looks to have gained weight (he's a real foodie) will definitely be using your services again.
I knew when I got Bella I needed to find a safe and caring kennel for her if I was to relax on holiday. Thankfully I found Burnedge and now go on holiday knowing Bella is also have fun, being cared for by a knowledgable and loving team. They really do treat her as one of their own ❤️
We were very nervous leaving our spaniel as we've never used kennels with our other dogs. Recommended by a relative, what can we say! An absolutely fantastic set up, the owners and staff are amazing, you can tell straight away they really care. Facilities immaculate and we've now started putting our new maltipoo with them. Highly recommended and more importantly you can see how good they are the minute you drive up to the gates.
We couldn’t ask for a better place to leave our dog than with Martin and Lesley. From the moment we drop her off, we know she’s in the best hands. They truly care for the dogs as if they were their own, and all the staff are just as fantastic. It’s clear how much love and attention they put into their work, and our dog absolutely loves going there. The facilities are always spotless and well-maintained, and we have complete peace of mind knowing she’s happy, safe, and well looked after. It’s such a relief to have a kennel we can trust, and we wouldn’t take her anywhere else. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a caring and professional service!
We have been using Burnedge kennels for well over 2 years now and we would not board our Sprocker, Finn anywhere else. Once again we collect Finn after a 2 week holiday knowing that he had been left in the excellent care of Lesley, Martin and their team. The standard of the kennels and all the facilities continue to be exceptionally high. The love and care they show for Finn is obvious to see. A team totally devoted in giving the very best they have to offer… Fantastic boarding kennels. On a more personal note. Towards the end of last year Lesley and Martin were on hand to look after Finn at very short notice, and on a number of occasions as we dealt with a great family tragedy. Their generosity and knowing that Finn was well cared for helped us focus all our energies in dealing with our dark days, and for that we are very grateful and thank them from the depths of our hearts. We have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Burnedge to everyone. Fabulous people.
My dog absolutely loves it here, she is so excited when she realises where we are going! Always happy when I pick her up too, I never have to worry about leaving her. The owners and staff are obviously animal lovers and take such good care of her. They are very professional, friendly and helpful with the humans leaving their pets too. The kennels are clean, tidy and secure, and heated in the colder months, definitely the best kennels around.
First time our 10 month old whippet Sadie had been in kennels, so we were quite worried how she would cope. But we needn't have worried she obviously enjoyed herself and was absolutely fine. Martin and Lesley were lovely to deal with. So happy that we've found somewhere we can send her and know she's in good hands.

I would not leave my dog with anyone else whilst we are away. Simba loves his time with Martin, Lesley and staff. He trots off with Martin to his kennel and doesn’t give us a backwards glance, that tells me he is happy which is what is important. Every part of your dogs routine is discussed so that feeding etc can be replicated whilst you are away. Your dog is given the best possible care, fussing and attention after your own. thank you.
