Personal opinion and experience. Very bad hospital, Don't go there. If you want or take risk or there is no other last option go there. Junior doctors do lines for multiple times in different place even simple bp, picc lines. Every week doctors change so new doctors come with question mark faces. Sadly to say but it's 100% true. If change rooms from levels from Icu to general wards they will take all ultra scans, xrays even after they did 1 hr before. If we ask take records from the system they say we have to do here and put in the system. Suppose if we ask reports, given access to uneducated third party company will take 30 days. In that reports they don't send healthy time patient records. They only send bad situation of patient time reports even they don't send in correct order. Its a big Joke hospital in the North East. Always doctors play safe games. 100% true information. Trust me. people are paying high NIs to get good health service for our future kids but can't say more. This is not only my opinion collected almost from 50

Doctors in the children’s ward are dangerous. Nearly killed a child by putting her feeding tube into her lung and then blamed the mother when she told them they did it wrong. Avoid if you have children!

Huge hospital! Went to Children's A&E. Information desk staff were extremely helpful in helping us find it. Check-in reception at Children's A&E, were very courteous, and made us feel extremely welcome. Children's A&E nurses were great, doctor on call was excellent. All staff were extremely patient! Overall, a excellent experience! This hospital is a credit to the NHS. Parking was reasonable, although I wish hospitals would not charge patients.

I was very disappointed with this hospital, I waited longer than I should, it is the third time I go to the same hospital and for the same problem but it has always been without result. my 5 month old baby is not feeding by mouth, now he still suffers from this problem at home. I wanted to meet the director of the hospital to teach him how nurses treat all patients in need

My daughter is under the respiratory team and her current consultant Dr McKean is nothing short of amazing. This also extends to her previous consultants Dr Brough and Dr Brodlie. Thank you so much for your kindness, time, patience, professionalism and care and the above and beyond service you provide. The consultants, secretary I've been liaising with and all the asthma nurses are above outstanding! You guys deserve so much recognition. We are so lucky to have you in our corner to provide my daughter's treatment. Thank you so much.

My daughter had to regularly attend a clinic here for over a decade and was always happy to go. All of the staff, reception, health care assistants, nurses, physiotherapists, Doctors and everyone else were always happy and eager to put the children at ease and cause as little stress as possible. I can't speak highly enough of this wonderful place.
