    I started taking my infant son to Lee’s because it was very local but I liked the fact that it had lovely, friendly and gentle women barbers who knew just how to cut little boys’ hair. The big draw, if I’m honest though is the absolutely PHENOMENAL Christmas scene that they set up over the festive period - a tradition that started in lockdown to make the community smile. My son could’ve spent hours looking at the miniature trains and the lovely illuminated festive village! We were also told by the lovely barbers that we could take him back any time just to look at it - which we did several times! Lovely ladies, amazing community feel and great haircuts! What more could you want?

    My late husband and our (now teenage son) have been having their respective barnets cut at Lee's since we moved back here in late 2003. My son, who's autistic, is always welcomed by both Fay and Julie, whom he's known for years. He feels extremely comfortable there and can visit alone, which is quite rare as I worry about him normally. It is a great local traditional barber shop.

    Keep forgetting Lee's is there when I need a cut as I tend to go where I can and walk with my toddler. I went in today with sleeping baby and got a really top cut from the young lady in there, quick, efficient and accommodating for the baby. Would really recommend them, I think the facade outside would indicate the place is for oldies but the two ladies in there today were young and would be able to give a stylish cut for any age. This will certainly be the first stop for my child's first haircut!
