   Excellent. Vision Express Doncaster offers the best of both worlds - the attentive, welcoming feel of a small independent opticians and also the high tech examination equipment, price competitiveness and product choice normally expected from a large chain. The Optometrist, Lauren, was easily the best I have ever consulted. She took the time to show me a detailed 3D scan of my eyes and explained to me their condition very clearly. The equipment used by Vision Express is very impressive and the best I have ever seen. Lauren went on to test my vision very thoroughly. I left feeling 100% confident that she had prescribed the optimum corrective lenses for my eyesight. Nothing was too much trouble and she took time to answer all my questions. In the store I was met by Rachael who helped me to choose both frames and lenses. There’s an amazing choice of styles, colours and brands. I gave Rachael an idea of what I was looking for and she was quickly able to guide me to the appropriate selection. Finally, I was more than happy with the price I paid for my new spectacles compared with previous opticians that I have visited. Considering the excellent and thorough examination and value for money, I consider Vision Express Frenchgate to be my “go to” opticians and highly recommended the fantastic team there.

   I visited Doncaster Frenchgate store on 28th August for the first time. I had booked an eye test here after feeling overwhelmed and pressured at an alternative opticians. What a pleasant experience. The waiting area was calm and comfortable, although I was only waiting a couple of minutes. My eye test was conducted by Bethany, who was very professional and put me at ease straight away. She explained every aspect of the test and advised a new prescription for me. I then dealt with a lady called Linda who helped me choose two new pairs of glasses that flattered me and all whilst keeping within my budget. Linda is a lovely lady, so friendly and approachable. She is certainly well suited to her roll. All in all a very pleasing experience and I’m now looking forward to returning to collect my new glasses.

   I am a regular customer at Vision Express. Each time I visit the service still remains at an exceptional level. Billy was the assistant who served me with excellent customer service and knowledge. From start to finish my experience was enjoyable. Beginning with my eye test to choosing and fitting of my frames. The prices are good and the range of frames and lens are unique. I am very happy with my purchase.

   Poor experience from the off, messed my prescription up twice. Had a retest and the 2nd optician was rude and kept getting interrupted during the test. Glasses returned for full refund, never again and taking my custom back to boots.

   Very good customer service, the locum who tested my eyes was. Very professional and explained everything he was doing. I have used other eye testing companies and have found vision Express the best experience. Some companies forget that customer experience is everything.

   Not really impressed at all with the whole service at this Doncaster location. Optometrist was clearly going through the motions of her repetitive script , too fast and vague instructions given to me . Afterwards sent to browse glasses and an assistant will help me. All 4 assistants were sat together chatting and didn't get up to help me. In the end I asked another customer for their opinion on my choice. I then asked an assistant for advice. She looked at me shrugged her shoulders and said they were nice . No smiles , no welcomes , where was customer service when you are spending over £300 . Came away disgruntled and dismayed . I will see if I like my glasses as to whether I keep them but will not be going back in future. Mrs Julie Yates. Visit was 10-1-2023 . Time 1.55

   Vision express Doncaster Frenchgate. Avoid at all cost! Booked appointment 4 weeks in advance, traveled 40min to be told after 15 mins of waiting that she can’t do the full OCT scan as the computer isn't working. I asked why she couldn’t ring to inform me, she just rolled her eyes… I had to cancel the appointment and she just said whatever without even offering different date… well I spent £300 in specsavers instead… very disappointed

   My experience in the shop has been very positive. The ladies were very polite and helpful and offered good advice as well as explaining their store offers. In comparison to other Opticians i think I'm sold - I'm now a Vision Express customer .
