   Oh, what a wonderful experience! Having got to the age of nearly 62 and never having had my hair professionally coloured, when grey hairs started to really make themselves known, I decided it was time to try it. Had a consultation with Brooke and she was absolutely brilliant - she took the time to listen to what I was hoping for and assessed my hair, the fact that I had had years of build-up from using semi-permanent dyes that had ended up making parts of my hair much darker than I wanted, the overall condition of my hair and what would work. I did an allergy test (please always do one - I know we all sometimes just really want to get our hair done right this moment but this is really important!) and Brooke took some samples of my hair to see how it would react to any colour-lifting. I then had my hair trimmed (again, so, so, nice to have someone listen and only chop what needed to be chopped rather than having loads more cut off than I wanted which I’ve certainly experienced elsewhere in the past!), then coloured and had some soft highlights to get rid of my grey but so that it still look natural and blended. I’m so, so happy with the result! Can’t recommend this salon enough - genuinely lovely staff, really kind and friendly, the salon itself is gorgeous - you’ll be well looked after and won’t want to go anywhere else. Brooke - please don’t ever leave!! If you move to Scotland, I’d probably have to make my way there to get my roots done when they need it! Thank you so much - I love my hair and feel so very much better about myself ❤️

   I recently visited Dawn Claire salon for the first time and I must say the experience was amazing. I had a cut and blow dry with Ella who was great. She listened to what I wanted, very knowledgeable when giving advice and made me feel very welcome. All the staff are lovely and the overall atmosphere is inviting and friendly. I will definitely be a regular customer.

   THE 'DAWN' OF A GREAT HAIR-DAY - My financial circumstances changed therefore I could no longer afford to patronise the high-end, exclusive and expensive hair salon I used to. As all Ladies know, a 'good' hair-dresser is a necessity not a luxury because all of us want to look our best and having our hair looking its best not only enhances our entire 'look' but also gives us self-confidence and self-esteem which are both important for our mental and emotional health so the hunt was now on for me to find a local hair salon that I could afford on my very strict budget so I consulted Google Chrome for a five-star rated local salon and one came up which had five-star reviews on all their reviews and that impressed me and gave me confidence that my hair would be well taken care of and I was right. The Salon is: 'drum-roll'........ Dawn Claire Salon, 82 Parrock Road, Echo Square, Gravesend, Kent, DA12 1QF. I made my appointment and went last week and was immediately impressed by the location, decor and immediate attention and smile I got as soon as I stepped in from a lovely Lady who ushered me in-to a beautifully stylish, contemporary and fully equipped salon. I was immediately checked regarding my name and appointment, offered refreshments and all the cordial, complementary enhancements politely and kindly which impressed me and put me at ease that I am in the right place. My hair got serviced on-time and that impressed me as I have been to salons in the past where you are kept waiting for ages after your appointment time. I was asked questions about my hair, what I wanted and my hair was examined too which told me that they were highly qualified professional hair-dressers and I was right! My hair was excellently dealt with professionally and no time was wasted and all the staff I came in-to contact with were professional, polite, friendly, kind and efficient and the atmosphere was organised with every-one working and working well as a team, controlled, relaxing and pleasant and the toilet area I used was squeaky clean which told me a lot about the very high standards there which I was further impressed with. When my hair was finished I was astounded and in shock because my hair was such a diabolical mess when I came in that I thought it was impossible to make any-thing of it so I am now their new Client for life and with all honestly the high-end expensive salon I used to go to comes second to this one!! I can-not recommend them highly enough to every woman who cares about her appearance and wants to look the very best she can at any age and stage of her life as I do and the 'icing-on-the-cake' is that on my budget, I can afford it!!

   I fancied a changed and a bit of lightening and Ella did an amazing job transforming my dull, lacklustre hair. It’s long and quite thick so it’s a lot for hairdressers to work with and she always makes me leave feeling glam! Ella is so friendly and welcoming and you feel like you’re chatting with a friend so it’s always a pleasure to visit the salon. Thanks Ella, you’re a ⭐️. Hayley x

   I came to the salon as a new client and had my hair cut and styled by Eleanor. She was fantastic - she did exactly what I wanted, I was delighted with the results and was so lovely to chat to too. I would highly recommend Dawn Claire salon and Eleanor in particular to anyone who wants a lovely experience alongside a brilliant haircut, I've already booked in with her for my next appointment!

   Spur of the moment this morning. I booked an appointment for today. Was pleased one was available. Staff really friendly, professional and helpful. Ellie cut my hair. I was very pleased.    I visited the salon on 01/10/22 and I loved every second of it! I had Brooke highlight, cut and blowdry my hair and I have never received so many compliments in the space of 24 hours!! From start to finish everything was extremely professional but also very friendly and all the other ladies in the salon were extremely welcoming too. Would highly recommend the salon and also Brooke.
