It you want a haircut opposite to what you ask for (even after the barber should know you by now after a few visits) this is the place to go. Avoid this place

Charged £16 cash for 11 year old son’s haircut that took around 15 minutes. No card payment accepted! The barber was unwelcoming and unfriendly. Showed him a photograph of what we wanted the haircut to look like and it turned out to look nothing like the image, when we asked him to make further changes, he was not very cooperative so we had to leave it as it is. We will not be returning to this place.

Great local barber - certainly not shut down despite what previous review states. Gets a bit toasty in there when the weather is warm! Oh it's cash only (contrary to the Google Maps listing) - but there's an ATM in the Coop over the road.

Nice Turkish barbers my regular place for my haircut and beard needs .I am aware that staff need holidays currently there is a sign advising shop will be closed from 04 July through to 25 July. I have been down on the last five days to find the premises permanently closed. I hope the staff are ok however this might have a knock on effect with customers looking to get their haircut

Average cuts. Nothing amazing, just a simple hair cut

Went to get a haircut today. Waited 40+ minutes with a mask on, respecting other people and coronavirus guidelines. When it was my turn to get a haircut, I asked the barber politely will he wear a mask and he said no. I explained I am at high-risk and vulnerable to the coronavirus disease and would like you to wear a mask. He then refused to wear a mask point blank. The staff member is a risk to the community. I would give it zero stars if it was possible.

Equipment never seems to be cleaned properly and appears to be unhygienic. I've seen nose hair trimming with a hair trimmer that is then used to clip eyebrows as well. Recording is permanently taking place in the corner of the room without permission or notice being given to clients, only Bulgarian/Turkish music playing with no regard to the local community. Good thing about this place is that the staff are friendly although English isn't their first language.

I've been coming here for a couple of years now. I'll keep going back, too, so long as they keep their standards. Always a good cut, at not a bad price. They certainly take their time, that's for sure. They don't finish until they are satisfied. As oppose to getting you out the door as quickly as possible. There aren't many places like that left these days. A word of warning, though, and it's the reason for not giving the full 5 stars: communication. English isn't their strong suit. Bulgarians, I believe. Be clear about what you want from the start. Haircut, eyebrow trim, ear trim, hot face towel and an upper body massage. For £20. Seriously good value. Thanks, chaps.

This is now a good barbers again after the last group of staff left. Communication still not great so make they understand what you want before they start but other than that a nice haircut, the blending was nice and even.
