   Ako is absolutely brilliant with our two young boys — he’s been cutting their hair for a while now and always does an amazing job. He’s patient, friendly, and really puts them at ease. The boys love going to see him, and we always leave with great haircuts and happy kids. Highly recommend!

   The owner whilst a decent barber has some very unsafe dangerous people working for him, one of his staff became aggressive and threatening towards me his behavior was of a street thug, and this person is a potential danger to all customers as he easily loses his temper as was my experience. Please be warned I have never had an experience like it in my entire life. This place is a risk to your health and safety.

   Ako is an amazing barber. I had my first haircut with him a few weeks ago and it’s never looked better. He pays a lot of attention to detail, and was very good at listening to how I wanted my hair to be cut. It’s also a great atmosphere and he’s a wonderful guy to talk to. If you’re either looking for a consistent barber or just in the area and need a cut, Ako’s is a great place to go. I’ll definitely be back!

   I am was very unhappy with the quality of haircut given to me and it felt like throughout I was not being treated with the respect a customer should. Multiple times, someone came in with whom the barber would have a chat with, one being the kebab shop owner delivering his lunch. It meant that he kept losing his place and get like he was only cutting half my hair. When I mentioned this and asked if it was even, he started just hacking away at it, with no apparent care and then started arguing with me saying things like: “I have worked with hair for 20 years, how many years have you worked with hair? You don’t understand it” and “I know your head better than you do”. It made me feel very unwelcome as a customer and I will not be returning

   Ako has been at a few locations through the years, but we always go to him. He’s cut my son’s hair for the last 8 years and his cuts are always fantastic, he does great with kids and is gentle and has great pricing. Highly recommend!
