   This is the worse haircut I’ve gotten in my life. I’ve explain the staff clearly that I wanted a low taper on the side and the back, front hair length that’s right below my eyebrows and just cut the extra bits for the top. At first he did cut the length I wanted at the front, but then proceeds to pull my hair back and trim most of them down. Honestly, what the heck, I don’t think it’s that hard to be listening simple instructions, I’ve emphasized countless times not to trim it short and keep my hairstyle like how it was. £18 for this is definitely not worth it. Never coming back again.

   Disappointment with my first hot towel shave here. The barber skipped the main step - no hot towel before shaving, just cream on dry skin and a rough shave. Only after, he put a hot towel and then sprayed my face with an alcohol spray. Now I have redness and small red spots on my chin, like tiny cuts. Even worse, there are still lots of hairs left on my moustache and neck. And its burns. I looked up afterwards how a proper hot towel shave should be done, and saw the hot towel is meant to come first, not after. It all just felt rushed, not like a proper ritual at all. Wouldn’t recommend this place for a hot towel shave. Update: Thank you for replying. I understand there may be different approaches, but the classic hot towel shave ALWAYS includes a warm towel before the shave, even in warm weather, to prepare the skin and reduce irritation. My experience felt rushed and not in line with the service I expected. I hope my feedback helps future customers know what to expect.

   I went here yesterday. The barber flicked something on fire in my ear without asking me if thats what I wanted, then said it was his first time doing so as he flicked more in the other ear, then asked if it hurt. I didn't think much of it at the time. Today my ears hurt and I feel nauseous. They were friendly and the haircut was good, not worth the damage to my ears. I wish I'd asked what he was doing before he did it.

   Went only for a hot towel shave. Was painstakingly meticulous - went above and beyond with nose & eyebrows done too before I’d left. Never too old I guess…A great glow up! Good value too.
