Such a wonderful experience in Headcase Twickenham today, where the manager cut my 5 year old sons hair with clipper and scissors. He gave him a fabulous haircut & made my son feel really at ease. This was my sons first visit to the hair salon in 2+years, due to an unexplained phobia(!). He was really chuffed at how smart he looked when we left. Thanks KJ
I've been here twice since it re-opened, both times James has cut my hair exactly as I asked him to and given it a shape I'm really happy with. I am hearing impaired and James is very patient, making sure I understand what it is he is doing at each stage.
First visit to this barbers and I understand it has new management. I took advantage of a promo code I had spotted on Instagram and received a very good haircut and beard trim from James. Everything was excellent when I visited, a polite and professional service, some good tunes, none of those annoying barber TV screens and I ended up with a good cut. I'd accidentally made a double booking but sent an email to the owner and everything was sorted very quickly. Will visit again.
To be honest with you, is a long time I’ve been coming here , always the best! Ciro has always been the best , always coming back there for him, smart guy always ready to suggest new styles and also make them to perfection, never seen anyone do a fade like he does! Carmine doesn’t joke around too, he’s always ready to entertain you on the chair and make you laugh! So far the best barbers around!
I would not recommend this Barber, there are plenty of others in Twickenham which will do a much better job. There seems to be no booking system so you have to just rock up and hope someone is free, If not you will be waiting over an hour. Seems very odd this day and age when you can't book an appointment to your Barber. The lady who is usually in there is quite good and you get a good conversation out of her, there is always another young guy in there who helps out and takes payments but I've never seen him cut hair before. When I went in there the lady was not there and only the young guy, I thought I'd give him a chance. I wish I hadn't. No idea how to fade or blend the hair in, there is quite obvious lines in my hair where he has struggled to blend it over different grades. I had to continually tell him what I was after and what he should be doing. He clearly is very new and shouldn't be allowed to cut people's hair yet, he needs more training as he has had none! Throughout this experience he had two friends in the shop as well, very loud and obnoxious, ruined any sort of atmosphere that place had. I will not be going back and have booked another appointment elsewhere for them to fix my hair!
I have tried 3 barber shops in Twickenham since changing my usual barbers. I think I have now found my new regular shop. Great music, and refreshments staff are really helpful and most of all the hair cut was outstanding.
