Quick and simple hair salon. Even on a Sunday afternoon there were 6 barbers and it was very fast and professional.

When a Haircut Becomes a Headache: A Disappointing and Unacceptable Experience As a parent, you want your child to feel safe — especially in environments where they’re already a bit nervous. For my 6-year-old son, haircuts have always been a sensitive thing. He's not afraid, but he needs a barber who’s gentle and patient, particularly when using clippers. That doesn't seem like too much to ask --but apparently, it was. We recently visited this barbershop on 2nd of September 2025 , hoping a quick, simple haircut before school started. But from the moment we sat down, I felt uneasy. The barber barely acknowledged us before motioning for my son to sit. There was no warm-up or friendly words, just clippers switched on and pushed aggressively across his head. I could see my son stiffen in discomfort as the barber yanked his head from side to side, clearly in a rush, clearly irritated by even having to do the job. I took a breath and said calmly, “Excuse me — could you please slow down a bit? He’s sensitive, and I don’t want him to be scared.” What happened next shocked me. Instead of responding with professionalism — or even just brushing it off — the barber snapped, turned to me, and shouted, “Are you serious right now? Don’t tell me how to do my job. Idiot.” I sat there for a second, stunned. My son looked confused, scared — and still had half his haircut done. At that moment, I stood up and said, “That’s enough. We’re leaving.” I took my son by the hand and walked out of the shop, half a haircut and all. --- Respect Isn’t Optional I’ve never written about a negative experience like this before. But this crossed a line — not just because it was bad service, but because it involved a child. There’s no excuse for yelling at a parent, let alone in front of their kid. There’s no excuse for calling someone names for making a reasonable request. Barbershop owners, please take note: cutting hair is a skill, yes — but working with people, especially children, requires empathy, patience, and basic human decency. We found another barber later that day who was kind, respectful, and gentle. My son smiled through the whole haircut — which just proves it can be done right. If there’s one takeaway from this experience, it’s this: Don’t stay silent when something feels wrong. And don’t settle for disrespect just because someone “knows how to cut hair.” To the owner, lost 3 customers from my own family ( I will never step in your shop again) and told all my friends and relatives in Harrow and surrounding my very bad experience at you shop. I lived in Harrow all my life and have a huge links. The un-responsible and very ugly behaviour of your employee making your business making you losing your customers. It's always hard to get customers, it take time and hard effort but it's very easy to lose them ......

My recent visit to this barber shop was extremely disappointing. The barber was harsh and rude right from the beginning of the session. I went in for a haircut for a formal event and clearly told him I didn’t want a fade or anything fancy—just to keep the sides short and flat. I even showed him a reference photo of the style I wanted. He rudely dismissed the photo, saying, “What is this picture? It’s not clear” (which I admit), and told me to choose from the photos on the wall instead. Honestly, I should have walked out at that point, but I stayed out of respect. He then began trimming the sides aggressively with the machine, to the point where it felt like he was purposely hitting the side of my forehead. He was being completely careless, and it actually hurt. I asked him to stop hurting me, and although he did ease up, his attitude remained the same. It got worse when he started trimming the back of my neck. He was so reckless with the trimmer—using a sharp blade with no care at all. Even when I flinched in pain, he continued without concern. The area turned red and irritated, and when I later went to Sharon to fix the haircut, their barber even pointed out that the back had been done completely the wrong way. When the cut was finished, I was honestly shocked—it was the worst haircut I’ve ever had. I told him this wasn’t what I asked for, and instead of taking responsibility, he started ranting that I didn’t explain it properly. He claimed he had asked if I wanted a No.1 or No.2 cut, but at that point, there was no point arguing. This place is a rip-off, and the barber’s attitude was completely unacceptable. The experience was terrible from start to finish. No wonder the shop is always empty. I would never recommend this place to anyone.

Get Smart is an amazing barber shop! The place has a really cool vibe, and the barbers are always super friendly and welcoming. A special thanks to my barber, Assad, who not only gives me perfect haircuts every time but also speaks Italian, which makes the experience even better. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for top-notch service!

I usually cutting my hair here. I went today it was very bad experience as I did my hair cutting with new barber. I think he don’t know how to cut hair. I feel like he was learning. Very worst experience. They are keeping non experienced staff I think the owner should know about the new barber instead of asking me. If you not like review on site, close your account online.

Today me and my son got a haircut. As always we got a superb service from beginning to the end. My son got a haircut from the Polish (I'm just guessing that he is!) barber and it was amazing. He's kind and listened to the requests. My barber is as always just impressive. I've been going to this barber for the past 5 years and would definitely recommend them. I've had haircuts from all their barbers and all are equally good!

I always go to get smart hair salon and I've always had great service. But I recently went there yesterday and and there was this new guy. He called me over sp I went to him. He was very rough with me He kept forcing my ear very hard and shaving extremely hard. He then proceeded to make my ear bleed. He made me a Nice hair cut but he really really hurt me. He was this.polish guy and he was very rude to my mum as he kept shouting at her and saying you can't do this you can't do this. I will try to add an image of what he done. Thank you. Don't get a cut from the white polish guy that wears a mask and has ear buds. And he also raised the price for us thinking we were stupid we confronted him so he lowered it to the original price very bad hair barber this guy is. But the rest are amazing

Unfortunately the barbers change too often and some of them don’t understand English. Once my husband went and he doesn’t have much hair so just usually gets a very slight trim , but when he came back there was barely any hair left. The regular guy he went to had left, so there was someone new. Took my younger son there this weekend and the guy barely understood English. Although we explained what needed to be done and what number machine to use, he did what he thought was right. One side on my son’s hair is shorter than the other. They need to hire proper professional barbers who understand and speak English.
