   Spec Savers staff, Sainsburys, Archer Road Sheffield are always professional and take time to explain any questions you may have. I Highly recommend this branch of Spec Savers, I have never felt rushed and they have a good selection of glasses and offers on glasses so I have never been disappointed and will continue to have my eyes tested there in the future.

I was very pleased with the initial consultation, test and fitting - this time was just as positive. It's a very professional and warmly human service they offer here.    Poor customer service: At this place, I had taken the vision test and two glasses which were never very comfortable and cost me £225. I asked for an appointment to check my prescription and glasses to see if they needed to be adjusted. I have given an appointment one week after. After going to the place, they made me wait 15 minutes, and the lady with a very cranky look told me that I had to pay to be seen and have my glasses checked because the warranty had expired after six months. I told her that I had asked for the appointment within six months, but then another person told me they had made a mistake, that it was three months and not six and that I had to pay for the consultation. I was never invited to make another appointment, and they were already closing the premises. I was not treated well at all, and I don't think I will return.

   If I could give a zero stars i would. 14 yr old went for eye test. shone torch directly in eyes said read this read that right thats it you do not need glasses. I questioned why he wasn't doing all the usual things, red light/ green light different lenses etc considering headaches was a reason for the test. Covid was the excuse given. I could have done that test at home ! Waste of our time and as a consequence if waving his torch in my sons eyes he then had sore eyes for the next few days. Really not happy with the lack of thoroughness or any real test or even seeming to care. Booked in at a different optician for a second opinion.Hope my son does not need glasses after been told he had 20 20 vision from reading one sentence.
