    Despite having a really nice chat with my barber I wasn’t at all happy with the quality of my haircut. My hair was thinned out at the top in a way which has made my fringe patchy and impossible to style. I got a good fade but a very unorthodox cutting method was used at the top which has left my hair looking very odd. After waiting a few weeks to see if it would grow out nicely I have concluded that it has not and I am left having to re think my whole style. It’s a shame really as the staff were friendly and welcoming but for the money that I payed I was disappointed and upset with the job that was done.

    Superb establishment. Dave has been cutting my hair for over 20 years. It’s a love affair that my wife is ok with. I don’t even live in London but I have pretty much stayed loyal to Dave the whole time by making sure he tends to my hair and beard whenever I’m local. This is testament to his attention to detail, leaving a great finish every time. He is very professional and comes with great chat that really takes away the chore aspect of having your haircut and makes it a relaxing experience. I would highly recommend Dave @ James Barbers, Tooting.

    I don't normally do reviews but Steph (sorry if I spelt your name wrong) did a great job on me head. I've been putting off getting a haircut for months and stumbled across this little place in tooting market which is reasonably priced and got a good cut and beard trim. Will come back again.

    This is the second time I’ve been here now and I think I’ve found my new favourite barbers! Both the hairdressers are bloomin’ great, and I had such a great chat with Steph yesterday who is absolutely lovely. They really take their time and on both occassions I’ve left with a really great haircut. Best barbers south of the river. Fact.
