My favourite place for haircut. Alan is a very professional and high quality barber. Like a experienced artist he knows what to do. If I can go weekday daytime I do, because the shop is calm, bright and less busy.
I visited Ako Barbers in Camden for a haircut, but unfortunately my experience wasn’t great. Although the sign outside says “walk-ins welcome”, I didn’t feel very welcomed. Ako gave me a buzz cut, but seemed quite rushed and was taking phone calls while cutting my hair. The result is very uneven, which is disappointing, especially for a £40 service. I had hoped this could become my regular barbers, but sadly I’ll keep looking elsewhere. Later Edit: the fact that they reply to 5* reviews, but don’t reply to low scores is quite disappointing.

One of of the best places I’ve been for a haircut, great booking system, Alan is a perfectionist he always makes sure everything is proportionate and always gets the correct angle. Nice music and customers aswell.
AKO barbers is a place I would recommend 100%. I have been to it a few times and they have always done the job and great friendly stuff. I don’t usual write reviews but today I am writing a review because I took my little brother to get a hair cut and since my brother has special needs (autism) I thought it would be hard and was worried if he would get upset or move a lot but the barber who cut my brothers hair was the owner of the shop and was really good and understood that he has special needs and took care of him and gave him a fade haircut which my brother never had before since we would cut his hair at home. My brother was happy with the cut and gave the biggest smile after the haircut and to me that shows that they are really good. So I would recommend.
Been going to Ako Barbers for 5 years. The brand new shop looks amazing. Ako Barbers is one of the best barbers in London. Ako offers 5* exceptional haircuts every time along with great customer service. He is adaptable to many different styles and is able to deliver a world class fade. UPDATE: AKO opened a new barbershop two doors down from the old place and is well decorated and super clean. Everyone here is extremely friendly. Been around the world and this is still my favourite barbershop! Recommended by all my friends who have been coming here for awhile and they weren’t wrong about AKO. Best haircuts I’ve had in many years and can see myself coming here every two weeks from now on.
I came specially from Switzerland to visit AKO barbers. They did a great job for the guys on the apprentice and I was waiting for a while to visit them. The service was fantastic, they gave me a great experience and got me ready for my sisters wedding. Their hair product is the best in the business! Respect and see you soon.
