The company is absolutely terrible all they care about it their money. Moved in and the fridge would not get up to temperature. All the food in it would constantly go off, I emailed several times to which no reply. Four months later, they finally reply after I threatened legal action and they replaced it as it was leaking gas. When I asked for rent back due to the issue I got told no, they had given me their spare fridge and I had not chased the problem. Upon showing receipts of repeated emails and reminding them that no secondary fridge had been given, they granted me one months free rent. End of tenancy I ask where to hand the keys in and there’s no response. I posted the keys back into the flat only to be emailed saying that I had not given one months notice (on a fixed term contract!) and I was now going to have to pay an additional months rent. There was also a delay in communicating about being given the keys back following the additional payment. Following the second end of tenancy, it took nearly three weeks for them to provide an end of tenancy meter reading after multiple emails. The windows do not open very far, not that it matters as it smells of weed outside. Sound proofing is practically not existent, you can hear absolutely everything. They will enter your apartment when they please, except when it suits you, in which case you won’t hear from them. The facilities are okay but not worth it, the gym has no air conditioning so is unusable in summer. All the landlords care about is their money, if it isn’t to do with their money, good luck getting a reply

I have just moved out of Jubilee Mill to semi-retire in Filey. I have had two spells at Blakeridge Mills over the last few years and I have been very happy there. The quality of the accomodation is high and the staff have been terrific. The place is kept clean and tidy and on the few occasions I needed help from Dave and the maintenance team they have been absolutely spot on. Big thankyou to Harriet and the team. Paul Croft.

A decent place to live! The flats are lovely and spacious, and the amenities are good! The gym is a little lacklustre, no free weights for example, and can get really stuffy in summer, but considering its included in the rent, you cant complain! The pool is also great. The car park is to a good standard, and decently secure with the barrier in place. The flats are also to a decent quality and I have zero complaints. Big shoutout to the maintenance team too, always on hand to help whenever there's an issue. They don't work weekends mind, but there's an emergency number worst come to worse. I'm aware of the issue people had with deposits, but I can't say I had any issues whatsoever. It was delivered back to me in 12 days, 8 WORKING DAYS, which is completely acceptable and within the 10 working days limit. My flat was clean and tidy, and I reported damages that were there, and ended up with the whole deposit back. The drop is star is due to the walls. There is very little insulation so it can get really hot/cold, and you can hear EVERYTHING your neighbours are doing. In the time I lived there I had a family that lived next to me with a child that would scream all day and all night. No exaggeration, it was almost constant. I had to get earplugs for the night and noise cancelling headphones in the day it was that bad. I can't really blame the family or the landlords, kids cry, the building is old and the walls are dated/thin. Definity worth to keep in mind when you come to look round. There is also no space for packages to be left, so make sure you're in and the tell the delivery man to come to your door, otherwise there's a good chance it will get stolen. Overall I enjoyed my stay here! Batley doesn't have much going on, but transport to Leeds is super easy. The flats are spacious and well built (minus the walls), and the amenities are good. Got my deposit back no problem.

I previously gave 5 stars when I moved into the properry as I believed it was a good deal, location, and the rooms seemed up to a good standard, which they are. However, I've changed my review to a 1 star based on the fact that I would not live here again. The lack of communication from Raspberry Lettings is awful and is really a shambolic way to run a business. Before leaving, I thought I had lost my key. I sent a message which was ignored and when I called to ask for the spare key or for the handyman or someone to let me in, I was told the handyman is uncontactable over the weekend, and that the owners were going away. They also told me there is no spare key, although when you sign up, they ask if there's two of you that you can have a second key. My friend lives there and he has a spare key, given to him by them. I was told to get a locksmith out on a Sunday, when it was pouring with rain. I'm not sure how the locksmith would have gotten in the bottom door as you need a key fob. Very un helpful. Up on leaving the apartment, I left it in a state that I found it, and I was told I would be getting my whole deposit back in 10 days. 10 days past, still no deposit, 11 days, 12 days. I sent a message to both owners, and there was no reply. Eventually, after making a group and messaging both , I got a reply saying she would chase it up. No, sorry, it's late, no time frame. So I left it 5 days and still no reply. This is where I raised a dispute with TDS and threatened to report them to the trading standards, Ombudsman team, and the council. To which I then received the money in my account within 4 hours. I had also previously through the yeah raised concerns over someone smoking out of their window next door to me, and it blowing into my apartment, this was ignored. And similar when my car was broken into, they did reply and asked me to send details and photos which I did, I asked if they could look at the cctv as the cctv pointed straight to my car, and then I never got a reply. The police had asked me for the cctv as well. Rooms are done up to a good standard, as is the pool, gym, and communal area. The only issue with these is that the gym needs air-conditioning in the summer. It's basically unusable. The apartment is so cold in the winter due to no insulation and high ceilings, and in the summer, the opposite for the same reasons. Would be far comfortable and less stressed elsewhere.

The apartments are gorgeous and spacious. The application and move in process was really stress free and easy. I've enjoyed living here so far and it's located perfect for nipping into Batley town centre.

Was here for 3+ years as I was working in the area, in that time the car park still hasn’t been completed, the stairs up to the property are filthy and they will do anything to not return your deposit. Stated the place smelt of smoke which is impossible as I DO NOT and have NEVER smoked in my life. Stating the hall way needed redecorating due to scuffs and marks on the wall which after 3 + years I don’t know what they are expecting. I would avoid if possible

The flats are nice at first glance but are a nightmare to live in, infested with silverfish, chunks of the ceiling fall out, parking is a mess (don't believe what they say about fixing it), and the indoor Temperature reached 38 degrees in the summer. On top of this you have to deal with raspberry lettings who have a terrible reputation for scamming Tennant's out of their money at every chance they get. If you need further evidence for this then take a look at the blakeridge mill Facebook group. Avoid at all costs!

Please read it carefully. I left one star because I can't put zero. I do not recommend this place. The worst problem is trying to get your deposit returned, they refuse to return it inventing endless baseless excuses, you will need help from TDS to get your deposit refund. I receive my deposit about two months later. This is unfair and unacceptable and more when you were a responsible tenant and always paid on time. Also water bills are expensive because the pavilion do not have individual meters. I hope this opinion will be helpful for you. Good Luck!

I have lived here now for three years having moved from London with my work. I can honestly say I have been very well looked after by the team here during my time. The apartments are the highest quality and wouldn’t go amiss back in London. My moving in was made very easy by the team and any problems are sorted out on the same day. Even more impressive is the gym facilities and the pool which i use on a daily basis. I would recommend this complex to anybody who is looking to rent a high spec apartment at affordable prices.
