   Busy on a Saturday morning, car parking not too bad. Wide selection of products but shelves not being restocked as quickly with some out of stock. Fresh fruit and vegetables can be hit and miss at times. Meat and fish are ok. Deli counter is extremely good, especially for pizza of choice iand salad bar. Gluten free and Free from is very good. Large selection of wines, beer and spirits but not enough variety for gluten free beers, only lager, would like to see more in the way of bitters and ales please.

   Look, credit where it’s due—Morrisons has a cracking selection, especially in the fresh meat aisle. Feels like you’re shopping in a butcher’s daydream. But the moment you hit the till, reality slaps you harder than a frozen turkey to the face. Everything’s priced like they think we’re all contestants on The Apprentice. Unless you’ve got a More Card glued to your forehead and a spreadsheet of discounts memorised, expect to remortgage for cheese and a loaf of bread. And don’t get me started on the 80p carrier bags—what are they made of, unicorn hide? Plastic or paper, it’s daylight robbery either way. Basically, Morrisons is like that mate with a posh flat who charges you to use the kettle. Two stars: one for the steak, one for the sheer audacity.

   I initially approached the staff to ask if I could exchange the flowers or get a refund, knowing that I didn’t have a receipt. I fully understood and accepted that a refund might not be possible without proof of purchase. However, what I found completely unacceptable was the rude and dismissive attitude from both the flower section staff and the customer service representative. I wasn’t asking for anything unreasonable – just a simple explanation or some professional advice about why the lilies didn’t bloom at all. Instead, I was ignored, spoken to coldly, and one staff member even walked away while I was still talking. I have submitted a formal complaint and will escalate this further if needed.

   What's going on with the lights?? In the last week I've been in the Ellesmere Port branch and the Chester branch. Poles apart! Chester has full lights on and heating! Ellesmere Port literally only HALF the lights on and feels like no heating. WHY? Can someone explain? It makes for a very poor shopping experience!

   Had a full English breakfast. It was very nice. It was not greasy at all, but unfortunately, the toast was a bit anaemic and cut diagonally which didn't help with my sausage and bacon butty. Did a small shop after which was fine. Self service checkout used as the other tills had queues.

   Just back from a dull and dismal shopping experience in the Ellesmere Port branch. Clearly saving an abundance on lighting!. Every other ceiling light fitting is no longer lit....if the fixtures aligned with the row that's lit, it wouldn't be quite so bad, but they don't! Add that to the fridge lights that have been removed and lack of staff to help reach items too far back on top shelves, all add up to a very poor shopping trip. Come on Morrisons, get a grip, and let us see what we're buying!!

   The foyer have a fantastic flower display and even have very helpful in house trained florists to make up bouquets while you shop, the flowers are fresh and great value for money, I always get my flowers at morrisons they last ages.
