   Great skin fade as always. I normally suffer from irritation on my neck when I shave at home, but I had it done this time at addiscombe barber and my skin was soft smooth and no irritation. Never disappoints, all of the barbers are top quality. Highly recommend

   It can be hard to choose a barber when one is balding and just looking for a standard #2 crew cut. In this situation, one is spoiled for choice. I selected Addiscombe Barbers, having previously visited the pharmacy a couple of doors down. It seemed to be a bit better patronized than a few other barber shops in the immediate vicinity, but that may have just been down to my impression the few prior times I had walked by. In any event, it was a good choice. The staff there are friendly, competent in their craft, and the shop has a cheerful atmosphere. So, I am a happy customer. One last thing: I sometimes carry a spare SIM-less phone (my previous device) with me when I anticipate a possible long recreational walk. At the weekend, I couldn’t find this spare, and since the last location shown for it was at home, I figured I simply had mislaid it and that it would soon turn up. When it didn’t, I thought of checking Google Timeline, and saw that I had had my hair cut several days before and had also taken a short walk in the park. Had I possibly left my phone in the park or at the barber shop? It seemed worth checking. I walked to Addiscombe Barbers, and before I had a chance to open my mouth, the barber who had cut my hair the previous week handed me my phone! How's that for customer care? I highly recommend Addiscombe Barbers!

   I popped in today and asked for a fade and tidy up. I also asked for a tidy up of my beard. I can honestly say it’s the worst haircut I’ve had for 25 years. I got to work and everyone asked what happened?? He basically scalped me. I’m bald at the back and sides, have a horrible carved hard edge, which I asked him to blend but he failed. He butchered my rather splendid full beard, shaving my top lip down where I had a nice thick Englishman’s tash, and left a long fluffy chin, elongating my face and leaving me looking and feeling terrible. I’ve had to shave my beard down to stubble myself at home and will have a couple of weeks of shame as I wait for the rest of my hair to grow to grow back and get it done properly next time. Probably gonna wear a hat for a while. So annoying because I rarely chance a new barber but genuinely thought “how can anyone mess up such a basic cut when they are so common these days?” Well trust me there’s good, and sadly there is everyone else; I am gutted. . And he charged me £28. I didn’t make a fuss.. what could I do after it’s done? Just have to learn the hard way. Never going there again. I don’t recommend.

   I have been struggling for many years to get my autistic son to get his hair cut. This is the first barber who has managed it without any issues. They are kind and compassionate and I would highly recommend them.

   K1 Is the best barber in London period! I travel across the entirety of London and not one Barber comes close to the talent of K1 His cuts are effortless and incredible To anyone reading this review you must try Addiscombe barbers at least once you will not be disappointed incredible artist five stars!!!

   Perhaps I was unclear with my instructions or perhaps the barber was just plain …asked for the back and sides and an inch or so cut off the top along with a beard trim and and all blended in, came out with hair different lengths on both sides, hair round my ears not trimmed (missus now done this) and a beard trimmed round the sides but not so much at the front. Not the best experience.

   The best barber out there . If you are being fussy about your haircut and cant find a good barber then this is the place to go . Customers service is 10/10 as well . The owner of the shop is the the most humbel and respectful person you will ever meet . Great work guys !
