   Terriable service, they only talk and not focus my hair cut and after that cut fail my hair make me look like a dumb. Never come back again

   I went to this barbershop and had a terrible experience. While I waited for my turn and sat close to the door two guys were passing by and asked the barber in their native language if he can cut their hair without waiting in the queue. You could easily understand from the context and gestures as he turned twice towards us, barber told them that he's got two people waiting showing at me and the other guy that was there before me. Conversation went on for a while and they've walked in to the barbershop. When it was my turn the other barber said to me that those guys were were actually there before me and he's just going to give them a quick haircut. After a short expression of my frustration barber said he is going to cut my hair first, but at that moment I was simply not interested. I don't think anyone would be.

   The worst haircut I ever received. I wasn't sure the guy understood how to cut hair from the start. And I showed the photo of my previous haircut at the beginning. He started to cut length from the back, which I never had before. There was no consistency in what he's doing he would just cut hair in random places. He didn't flatten the corners. He trimmed about half a santimetre above the ears and at the same time missed to cut some long hair around it. For some reason he was using gel and shaving blade to trim. Then the hair obviously stuck to a gel and he tried to dry it with a hairdryer (only from one side of the head). It was bad. To finish if you want to pay by card you have to pay more.

   Had my skin fade with a beard trim by Sam and must say that the service was above and beyond. Very friendly, polite and listened to exactly what I wanted. The baber wears transition prescription glasses which someone commented but a simple question would make anyone realise that they are NOT sunglasses!

   Been here a few times and always satisfied with the result. Consistently good. They have a self- regulated queue - i.e. "who is next", so if you don't keep track you will lose your place - regular cut takes about 10 mins, so the wait is never too long. They accept card or cash payment.

   I went to this barber attracted by their 4.7 rating. Very simple request: “Back and Sides Only! Not too high”. Guess what happened???? Exactly the opposite! He went straight high up and cut far too much! I can’t have this hairstyle cos I have a thin and long face which makes my face even longer. He also started cutting the top and I had to explain twice that I don’t want the top cut as I’m growing my hair long so I can sweep it back. Now I have to wait 2 months to start the length I wanted. To top it all, under no circumstances that it was explained that it’s CASH ONLY. In London???

   This is my go to Barber in Surrey Quays. Good quality cut and love the hot towel. Also go to experience the nose wax which is definitely a one off. It gets busy some days so expect a 5-10min wait but it’s never overly long
