This place is pretty good for branded food items at discounted prices, I picked up some magnum ice cream at an unbelievable price, 25p each with a year left to go on the use by date, there are always offers on at Heron Foods so it is worth popping in to grab a bargain, highly recommended for all bargain hunters.
Hey Heron, Thanks for your response. On reflection 2 stars was a bit harsh of me. My disappointment was based on the fact that there were no refrigerated items when I called in for milk while I was working in the area. Thinking about it now though, I did get some other bargains so I have revised my rating. Have a great week, Tony

Brilliant shop always clean and friendly service staff are helpful I went to pick up my cooking bacon bought two packets I use this for my soup 1kgcosts £1.29p as it's my day for making chicken, bacon & vegetables soup kids love it and it's good for them the prices are good in this shop 6glass bottles coke £2.00 can't get cheaper anywhere I shop here regular prices are good through out the shop from there I went to the food stall in the mkt prices there are very good 2boxes of shreddies£1.50 no.one sellls them that cheap anywhere then on to the fruit stall best fresh fruit and veg anywhere in Ellesmere port I would recommend these 3premises are brilliant good food for good cheap prices .
