Two gentlemen at the ticket offices were very nice. Nice atmosphere in the cinema. But there was a very not nice bodyguard who blew up to the child that she could not lean her legs on the seat and she had her shoes pulled down so as not to dirty the seat, he made a walk around the room during the screening, and when people in the middle of the film began to argue, he did not even pay attention to them. She also used her phone during the movie and he regarded her to put the phone away but her brightness on the phone was all the way down and additionally, she had a privacy screen protector so no one next to her could see the light coming out the phone - no was was in the behind row either. No sound was coming out - no distractions to the people in the room. Pathetic. the child after the movie cried because bodyguard it is so rudeβ¦..

Went but was told we were watching one film and instead watching another. At the start of the film and employee came out and said that instead of home alone 2 we were watching home alone 1, still good but just wish we had been told before as we'd watched it the night before in preparation for number 2. Good service though very polite about movie change.

Yeah pretty solid 4 star. Friendly staff which were very helpful and proactive coming up to me informing I could enter, small things like that. Clean and decent toilets but a bit aged inside, art deco done on a budget or something Iβm not sure just doesnβt feel proper art deco which is usually a bit premium feeling, donβt really get the other reviews about this as a βart decoβ cinema it just feels more budget outdated than art deco. The main reason though is that the cinema isnβt very modern inside and speakers arenβt properly Dolby surround or anything like that. I also paid extra for a premium seat with extra leg room but was sat in front of a wooden pillar, aisle opposite had more leg room and better positioning and wasnβt even premium! Try to avoid booking online and ask staff for help picking best available seat. Overall pretty cute cinema and friendly and helpful staff. Is it a luxury art deco cinema? No. Is it a modern state of the art Dolby? No. Does it do everything well? Yes

I took my little boy this morning and the staff were brilliant with him. Two tickets for a toddlers showing for Β£6 .. bargain. Clean seats, good toilet facilities and good snacks available. Keep the original odeon going.

Clean and gave vibes of old cinema set up. Pricing reasonable. Worth visiting if you want to watch a film.

Although dated, still holds its character from the 90βs! Itβs a Harrogate gem which holds a place in my heart from being very young! I feared when Everyman was built this wouldnβt have lasted but it has and Iβm glad! I will always choose this cinema before the Everyman! Plus customer service has always been great!

Cheaper than the other local cinema. They don't seem to mind you bringing your own snacks and drinks which makes it even more affordable. For those with Blue Light or Defence Discount Service, vouchers can be purchased that make it even cheaper. However, if you want to book online, you pay something like a pound per ticket which seems crazy. You can use the vouchers for few at the ticket desk. The seats aren't particularly comfortable and in some of the screens they're at an is angle to the screen which feels wrong. And I've been to too many movies where the volume was far too loud. But in fairness, the one time I did ask them to turn it down, they did. But other than that, a good place to get lost in a movie.

Here's the deal Screen 1 - larger screen, uncomfortable seating (folding chairs), seats not pointed straight towards the screen but at an angle. Much better view sitting towards the front, gets worse the further back you go. Screen 2 - same as screen 1 but a slightly smaller screen Screen 3 - small screen but more comfortable seating, seating not raised so not good if somebody tall sits in front of you Screen 4 - similar to screen 3 but sometimes noise interference from screen 5 (i think when they forget to close the screen 5 doors). Screen 5 - Larger screen, uncomfortable seats, no raised seating, feels very dirty in there. Very old-school venue - don't expect state of the art. Toilets always clean and always soap in the dispensers, staff always friendly and professional (much more so than the two Odeons in Leeds, though both Leeds ones offer a wider range of films and a better experience overall).

Nice staff, good choice of drinks and snacks. Nachos with 3 sauces - decent portion. Seats comfy. We really enjoyed the movie. Parking just around the corner.
