I LOVE the bakery when you go in. I definitely recommend the brownies and hazelnut donuts and there so cheep!
Beware of the African security guards they are very aggressive. Make sure you get the SIA badge number on their person and report them. Have been harassed by guard while shopping in this store. Not a nice experience at all.
I've not been into Lidi for a while. I recently went into Lidl Bootle. I and disabled and use a Rollator, so I can only us a basket. I was looking for a basket when I was told they don't use them anymore. How am I suppose to use a large basket on wheels or a trolly? I think you should think again before you lose more disabled customers.
I had visited this shop at today evening I bought a battery and alternator tester. I used self scanner for billing. I paid £2.99, but exit time the beep sound turned on. The security asked me to show the bill I gave him the bill and purchased Iran and he said the bill and item is different. Then I said I scanned the same item and paid £2.99 If you have any doubts ask your team or do scan again. I spend for this 3-5 minutes after one of their representative came and scanned which i purchased the same item. He said apologise to me and said it is same price. Actually it is their mistake, I bought battery & alternator tester. But when it is scanning showing name as oil filter wrench. But price is same. Due to their problem I was very disappointed mentally, I am using this store more than 2 years. But this is the first experience. After the mental harassment they are saying sorry.
Heard that Lidl was supposed to be cheap but many branded items were the same price as the main supermarkets. Long queues at checkouts so wouldn't bother going back.
I am a regular customer there store is well lit clean well stocked the staff very helpful good selection of fruit and veg

Very competitively priced supermarket with an in-store bakery. The selection of fresh fruit and veg is in my opinion better than that of the bigger more established supermarkets. Plenty of parking.
Been shopping here for 2 years but not happy with the quality of fruit and vegetables lately. Quite a bit of smelly moldy stuff. Hopefully it will get better soon as I really like the shop.
