   We're so fortunate in Hextable with having a Ladies and a Gentleman's hairdressers. Kevin is polite, friendly and an experienced, knowledgeable hairdresser.

   Had a walk-in haircut and beard groom here. At first glance, the haircut seemed okay, but once I got home, I noticed it was uneven on either side and not well-blended. The beard groom, which cost an extra £13, was unfortunately the biggest letdown. A shaver was used on my neck, causing a rash and not actually tidying it, just shortening the hair. The top of my beard was done with a blade without shaving cream or a hot towel, which also left a rash. While the staff were friendly, I wouldn't recommend this place if you're looking for a complex haircut like a skin fade. It might be suitable for older gentlemen seeking a simple cut, but for anything more intricate, it fell short.

   It's tough to find a barber that seems to genuinely care about my hair as much as I do. AK is my go to because I'm fussy and they listen, so i drive past 3 other barbers to get there. Premium cut and service with experienced barbers, without the premium prices.

   First rate and friendly service as usual. The decor is excellent and always clean, plus there are TV's, music and a fish tank to keep you entertained! It feels like a high-end hairdressers but with barbershop prices.
