Normally had a positive experience with the team in Bolton, however this time round not so good. Will return to a groomer I used prior to this grooming salon. Very expensive now and my dog looks a mess.
This is my first time at this location, I normally go to Prestwich. I was in work and sent my son with our Cavapoo. He phoned me whilst at the salon to ask what sort of cut. I said a full groom but not too short. I’ve come in from work and literally cried. Our Cavapoo has basically been scalped!! Additionally she has had a white tip on her tail which is like her “thing”, even the breeder named her Tip because of it. No other groomer has touched this but they have literally chopped it off. I am beyond livid and will never visit this salon again!
I recently had my two Scottish Terriers groomed by the groom team at Bolton. They are particularly nervous about the experience which the team are well aware of. Kimberly met me in the car park and took the girls in one at a time. This was such a relief to me as I stress each time I have to take them. Kimberly and Katie's understanding of our needs is exemplary. The groom experience went far smoother and both girls upon collection were happy and looking really smart after their treatments. Had my spaniel in for a trim last week . Had to pay extra for a small knot in one ear .. knot still there . Cut by an apprentice .. came out with a scruffy back and was told next time they will brush her first after the dryerand then cut !!! The computer was down I get that but still not received my deposit back and had to call to ask for it and told another 3 to 5 days !!! Not good and will not trust my dog there again !!!
Absolutely disgusted at my experience here today. They cut my dog and denied all knowledge, spilled perfume on him which they were told he was allergic to and charged me an additional “matting fee” for one small knot in his ear (of which there was no mention anywhere prior to booking and paying the deposit). Staff were rude and disinterested in the dogs and my dog came out stressed and shaking, which is entirely unlike him. Hugely expensive, awful service, will not be returning again.
Our yorkie has tonsil cancer and we were concerned about grooming due to the tumours. There was nothing to worry about. The team were great, treated her really well, careful around the tumours,and she looked lovely. Thank you for looking after her
Love the staff here they always do the best hair cut for my boy Oscar. Highly recommended
The team pampered our Zuchon, the result was excellent, he looks like a new pup. and very fairly priced as well.
Took my dog for the first time other day and I knew his ears needed a good cleaning. Told the woman to focus on that mainly. Once picked up she said she had cleaned them very well and they’re mint. Got home and he was still shaking his head so I cleaned them again and they were bad again. Just ordered some Propper dog ear cleaner so I’d rather do them myself. Place is dull, get a mobile groomer and avoid this place it’s garbage.
Really misleading service. If you book through the website there is a notes section where you can update them about things like if your dog isn't great around other dogs and anything else they can assist further with. What they don't tell you is that of your dog isn't great around other dogs (my dog is very barky around other dogs he was a rescue so can be a bit unpredictable with other dogs so I like to be safe even though he is amazing around humans) they will charge you double the price as even If they are not busy they want both groomers paid. I feel this needs highlighting on the app so people are aware before they book as it's such bad service to make it out as if they will assist when they have no intention on helping dogs that may seem more difficult than others
