   I am of an age where planning for retirement was looming and needed dealing with. Up until now, almost all decisions relating to our finances had been made in isolation but on this occasion, professional help was essential. We began the search for a Financial Adviser that could assist in what to us, was a major decision relating to funding our future. During a conversation with a colleague earlier in the year and just by chance, the topic of seeking financial advice cropped up. It turned out, that he had been through the same process some years earlier and was already a part of COMPASS and had no hesitation in recommending them to us and to one Financial Advisor in particular, Jack Lord. We met Jack for the first time earlier this year and sensed from that initial visit, we were in safe hands and over the following months completed what we set out to achieve. All of this was made simple because of Jacks knowledge, experience and in our case certainly, patience and understanding.    My first experience with Compass Financial was to be assigned a meeting with one of their financial advisers, Mr Damian Cross. Damian, took considerable time to explain the probable best options with my current pension plans. These plans were held by several different pension providers and some of these had differing policy numbers. It was suggested that the total plan sums of these could be rationalised and individually transferred into one fund management company (Quilter), to enable much better online access to 'monitor' the fund performance. These, now, pension funds appear to have increased in value since the transfer(s). Damian appears to be a very knowledgeable financial person, he is very customer focused and is extremely helpful. I say that Compass Financial have got on board an excellent staff member. Damian does go the 'extra mile' with regard customer experience He is, undoubtedly, recommended to future clients and potential employers Thank you Damian and Compass Financial. Five Stars+ Paul.

   We were sorry when our previous financial adviser told us he would be retiring. He suggested that Compass Financial would be able to look after our needs and he has been totally correct. We were a bit apprehensive about the change but Chris Smith, who is now our financial adviser with Compass Financial, has looked after us very well. He quickly established a rapport with us and he made what we thought was going to be a challenging experience into a much easier one. He skilfully established what type of savers we were and helped us clarify what our aims and objectives would be. He helped us redirect our investments into ethical funds which is what we wanted and we feel very happy about that. It’s good to know that he will be monitoring our funds in future: we feel in safe hands. Finally, we should also mention Lewis Armstrong and James Planer who have been very helpful in arranging our meetings and navigating the paperwork. Many thanks to all!
