Shocking if youβre thinking of a pension I would not advise this company. I was enrolled through my employer and they have now gone to Legal and General. I have never received any documentation from Aegon the last two years, now I am trying to find out info they are no help at all. The website is shocking I finally got through on a contact number and spoke to an advisor who said they could not give me any info but would email and post the information itβs now been a week and no contact at all. Shocking makes you wonder if your money is safe with this company.

Disgraceful company. Completely unhelpful and incompetent. They have my name registered incorrectly and refuse to change it as I want to move my pension from them which is ridiculous. Do not enrol with them. I will never have a pension with them again.

When my dad passed away I contacted aegon to let them know what had happened, within a few days I was sent all the paperwork and anything else I needed to send. Aegon kept me up to date with what was going on and within a few weeks aegon finalised everything and I was sent my dadβs pension which was split with my other sibling. All done within 5 weeks. I know there are some not so good reviews about aegon on Google but from what I encountered there were no issues. All I want to say is thankyou to aegon and the service I received. Thankyou.

I donβt understand pensions. Iβm degree educated, and not thick, but pensions confuse me. Iβve tried to clarify things about my pension with the helpline but itβs left me just as confused. Accessing my online account is also a nightmare. There are so many options and I never get the right one. Then it wonβt accept my password, which is saved on my phone so god knows why not. I guess Iβll find out what Iβm entitled to when I draw it, and not before.

What a hopeless and unhelpful company. I have emailed then numerous times and got nothing back. I did ring them once I was on hold for over two hours. I received a letter from them today dated 27 November saying my pension lump sum had been put into my account but it hasn't. So now I have to try and contact them again. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE!!

Recently asked Aegon to transfer five separate existing Aegon pension plans into my main workplace pension plan. What should be a very simple online process has become an administrative nightmare with multiple calls required on my part, random incomplete transaction forms emailed to me and no coherent follow-up from Aegon. Customer service team become involved and then tell me by email that they cant call me to discuss as they are working from home and are not provided with phones (you really couldn't make it up!). Still not resolved after five weeks. Aegon's products are generally very good but from my recent experiences I cannot trust the administrative side to be reliable which is obviously important if you ever plan to access or manage funds in any way. Once consolidated then I will seriously consider pulling all my funds from Aegon and moving to another provider. Lost ALL confidence.
