   I got a Mani Gel and Pedi and was not pleased with the service I got today. It usually is a hit or miss out of the times that i’ve been in. The manicure looks very untidy and rushed, not pleased at all. Took these photos minutes after walking out. Despite asking for it to be cleaned, I walked out with shoddy work. The pedicure - I was told that it is dry and ready. I get home, and it’s ruined. Also flagged that one of my nails is very fragile and thin, which was rudely dismissed. After the technician buffed it, the nail chipped off making it much shorter than the rest of my nails. There was no consideration or apology on this. So disappointed.

   I’m happy with how my nails came out overall — I showed the technician a picture of what I wanted, and while they didn’t turn out exactly like the photo, I didn’t mind him taking inspiration and doing his own version. That part was fine. However, the rest of the experience wasn’t great. I called ahead and clearly asked for a new set on my hands and overlay on my toes. I arrived at 2PM and didn’t leave until 5PM — he seemed to be struggling, but again, I was patient. The real issue was with my feet. Instead of doing the overlay as requested, he just applied gel polish and cured it. I explained that I wanted an overlay, but he removed the gel and then reapplied it — no overlay was ever done. By that point, I don’t think he understood me, or maybe just didn’t want to continue. I also think there may have been a language barrier which made it harder to explain. Then came the price. I was charged £68 for my hands and £40 for my feet, even though I didn’t get the service I asked for on my feet. The manager had already left, and I felt I had no choice but to pay the full £108 — which I think is ridiculous for what I actually received. I will be providing pictures as evidence. I believe a refund or at least a discount for the toes is fair and should be seriously considered.

   The owner is very nice and professional and I am always happy with her, but if by bad luck I end up doing my nails with the boy technician with the spider tattoo I get always a very rude treatment. Today I asked for a pedicure and an infill for my hands, with both shellac. First it took over 1 hour to get my pedicure which was also half done, and someone else had to take over the job to finish it. That was no problem as I understood one guy was new and had no clue on what he was doing but he did a very caring job, although it took much longer then usual and sadly I had no time. When was the moment to do my infill, the guy with the tattoo suggested to do a removal and a new set, for which I did not had time as the pedicure took over one hour. So I asked for an infill, as was my initial intention and the guy said laughing that the nails will come off. Following this I said that I’ll take the risk anyway because I didn’t want to stay with undone nails, but he drilled my nails so much in purpose to make them break as they were super thin (much thinner then normally), just because he wanted them to break so I could go back to remake them. He was drilling me so much till he was hurting me and when I said it he complained that I had to relax my fingers. I have an allergy to the glue, so I cannot put fake tips on my nails, so I generally ask to just put some gel or acrylic on my natural nails, which always gets a refusal or them laughing at me like I am asking something strange. For one nail that is shorter then others seems a too big deal to overcome to make it longer, and for that nail they also overcharge me 5£ extra. I really hate the lack of customer service from everyone except from the owner that is always very nice. The staff is rude and definitely doesn’t want to help you and insists on making things the way they want, rather then trying to make you happy. I paid for manicure and pedicure 69£ when I generally pay 63£, but it’s not a big deal if the staff was nicer and I could get the job as I wanted. I decided that after this I won’t go back. Horrible and rude staff.

   I would not recommend anyone coming here I was there with my friend last Saturday and the guy who's done my nails is the worse person to trust your nails The color came off the same day, and next day one of the nail came off literally like it was glued. I especially called my friend to have a look and she was shocked too. She did say that she had bad experience once as well. I paid £30 for a normal nail polish with extensions. Lol...And that guy made one of the nail incorrectly and to fix it he just applied another colour coat omg . . I am just laughing how easy people make money from trustworthy people like me lol first time to salon and the last one. I am better doing my own nails. Sorry guys but I have to warn other people not to waste money maybe other ladies are good there but that boy looked like he was in a rush to go home as it was closing time.

   I love this place! I am so happy that the staff here ( who I have been going to for years now ) have opened this lovely salon on Preston Road! My nails always look immaculate, they last for such a long time, even though my job is quite creative and I really put a lot of stress on them they look amazing even after weeks! I highly recommend visiting if your looking to relax, unwind and gain some serious compliments on your manicured fingers! The staff are super friendly and professional and always try their best to suit your style!!
