I’ve been looking for a nail salon for ages now and unfortunately this one won’t be the one I recommend. I initially visited after a friend recommended it to me. I got gel manicure done, however the job done wasn’t good and it started chipping after a week. I came in to fix them by the best technician Anna (for which I got charged). But yet again they chipped after a week. The polish job itself was good, but they don’t last!

They went above and beyond for my nails and did an excellent job! The water was warm, the did well to shave off all of my callused skin, the massage was great and the appointment was quick and efficient. Thanks for the great service!

I would avoid this particular salon at all costs. I requested a service and they insisted on not doing the manicure I had booked despite me asking repeatedly, but instead told me they were applying a “special” gel polish instead, and insisted it was “the better option.” At the end, I was charged twice the amount of a regular gel manicure, and was left flabbergasted how a single base coat of polish added £30 to the bill. This did not feel correct or ethical in my opinion, and it left me feeling taken advantage of by the owner and her employee. I don’t usually leave reviews, but this was an exceptionally unpleasant and expensive experience-in my opinion. Wish I had taken the advice of other reviewers to avoid this place, because my nails are chipping the day after using this “special” gel nail polish as shown in the photo. There are so many other salons in the area…

5*! Joanna and the girls are so professional and efficient! I absolutely love my acrylic nail extensions! Great value for money too! Will definitely visit again! I must say I was absolutely appalled at how the girls that work at Kensington Nail Art were spoken to by numerous clients within my nail appointment… please BE KIND!

    - great for GelX Nails*, rather than acrylic tips, which lasted more than 3 weeks without scratches even during beach holidays. - Call to book as they cannot always monitor the website bookings and you'd therefore risk waiting around quite a bit - the ladies are friendly, professional and talkative but also respect if you just want to relax *the clear nails that get pressed on and then designed as you please

I am not one to leave public reviews but I hope that with this I am going to spare someone the trouble. I went to this salon and asked for powder gel nails, instead I got these horrible gel extensions, that the lady didn’t even file properly. All of my nails were different lengths, different shapes and on to top it all off, she put too much polish on the edge, which dripped and dried in a clump underneath my nail. I thought she was going to take that off at the end with the nail milling machine, but imagine my shock when she told me I was done. Will never step into this salon again, I’m surprised it’s survived this long in an area like Kensington.

Possibly the most depressing nail salon I’ve been to and I don’t agree that the Owner/manager swears in front of her customers not a good look at all Terrible atmosphere, no music no Christmas decks and to finish off my experience I have to pay £48 for a really bad manicure…..

i made a reservation and arrived on time at 2pm. the person at the desk told me she was busy/backed up and to come back later in the day at 6 pm. after waiting 4 hours for the appointment i made to prior, i arrived early for the same woman to tell me that the woman who was meant to do my nails “left early” and there was nothing she could do for me. she wasted my time and did not do anything to make up for the immense disappointment this caused. i really really wanted to support a minority business, being an asian woman myself and really tried to work with this company but unfortunately i have no idea how they continue to run with how they appear to be managing their business. i STRONGLY do not suggest this place and think you should spend your hard earned money and sacred time at a place that respects you.
